This site contains a lot of information about health in Texas. Information about birth and death records can be found here. It looks like this site is changing.

Methodist Health Care System
These are hospitals in the Houston area associated with the Methodist Church. It includes some medical information, along with information about the services provided by member hospitals.

M. D. Anderson Cancer Center
This site has good information about cancer as well as information about services provided by the center.
Cancerwise This is M. D. Anderson's monthly publication about cancer. There are archives going back to June 2000.

Texas Cancer Registry
The address has changed and I think some of the features have changed too. This is still a good source for information about cancer in Texas.
