SailorMars' Attacks
So now that you've read Rei's profile, and you know who SailorMars is, here is a list of both her Japanese, and English attacks. Most of the information I got from 'The Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource Book'. Please visit their site. But I made up all the descripitons. I don't mind if you take them, in fact, go right ahead, but a link to my site would be nice.. hint hint...
Oh! And because I live in the US, I've never seen any of the Japnaese episodes, so this page will cover the attacks for the first two seasons of Sailormoon. (Sailormoon, and SailormoonR.) Just wanted to clear that up.
*English Name*: Mars Fire, Ignite! *Japanese Name*: Fire Soul! *Notes* SailorMars' first attack. Basically, all she does is put her two pointer fingers together, and a beam of fire shoots out of her fingers kind of like a gun. This attack first appeared when SailorMars did in episode #7, titled 'An Uncharmed Life' (In English), and 'Norowareta Bus! Honoo no senshi Mars toujou!' (In Japanese). Now, for all those people who don't speak Japanese, translated, that means 'The Cursed Bus! The Warrior of Flames Mars Appears!'
Also, if you're interested, when Nephilite was around, he used the youma 'Gemini', which copied both SailorMars' and SailorMercury's attacks. For those interested, that was episode #17, 'An Animated Mess' (in English), and 'Kodomotachino yumemamore! Anime ni musubu yuujou!' (in Japanese). Translated: 'Protect the Dreams of Children! The Friendship Bound in Anime!'. But in either case, the red one, copied SailorMars' 'Mars Fire Ignite!' attack.
*English Name*: 'Mars Firebird, Strike!' *Japanese Name*: 'Fire Soul Bird!' *Notes* My favorite! This attack first appears in episode #48 entitled, 'Raye's Day in the Spotlight' (English) , or 'Bunkasai ha watashino tame!? Rei joou nesshou!' (Japanese). Don't panic, here's the translation... 'The Cultural Festival is Just For Me!? Queen Rei Sings All Out!'. What Mars does is, litterally 'Mars Fire Ignite', except instead of a beam of fire, a really awesome bird made of flames comes out. IMHO, it's her coolest attack! Very awesome!
*English Name*: 'Mars Celestial Fire, Surround!' *Japanese Name*: 'Burning Mandala!' *Notes*: Okay, another one of my faves. This is when SailorMars powers up in the second half of SailorMoonR. It first appears in episode #57 entitled, 'Gramps in a Pickle' (English of course), and 'Onnaha tsuyoku utsukushiku! Rei no shin hissatsu waza!' (Japanese). Here's the translation... 'Girls Should be Strong and Beautiful! Rei's New Attack!'. After shouting the attack, I think (although I'm not positive. It's my guess...) that a Japanese sign for each of the zodiac signs appears, and then a beam of -you guessed it- fire comes from her hands. It's pretty kewl!
*English Name*: 'Mars Firestorm Flash!' *Japanese Name*: I'm not sure.. ::shrugs:: If you think you know, please e-mail me. I'll make sure you're credited.*Notes* This attack appeared the same episode as 'Mars Celestial Fire, Surround!', so to save time and space, I won't go writing out all the Japanese and English names of the episode and stuff. All this attack is is a stronger version of 'Mars Fire Ignite!'. That's it!
*English Name*: 'Mars Fireballs Charge!' *Japanses Name*: 'Akyu Ryo Tai San!' *Notes*: I know that I spelled the Japanse name wrong,but it's something like that. This is the attack where SailorMars uses those kewl scrolls! It freezes the enemy in place, allowing SailorMoon to whap the thing with her tiara, or heal it with her wand. How's that for teamwork?
That's all the attacks I'm gonna cover for the moment. I might get around to doing the attacks that Mars gets after SailormoonR, but I'm not sure yet. So in the mean time, this will have to do...
