Appearance: Lance has black hair and eyes, with an expressive face and voice. Despite his wuss reputation, Lancer is actually in pretty good shape, tall and trim, standing at least six feet in height, becoming tanner, well-muscled, broad, and filled out as he takes on his military job. Lance usually wears nondescript casual clothing. At other times he wears a partial tunic that leaves most of his chest bare or Mandarin Chinese looking clothing.

Fighting Skills: Lance would have started out as a normal guy (at best), but he became an actual soldier with a live firearm. For some time afterward, Lance retained some knowledge of military procedure and practical knowledge of how to operate most types of military-grade weapons, as well as self-defense training. In any case, Lance will try to help where he can in a crisis, but if it seems like a good idea he will try to move innocent bystanders out of the combat zone. Given that Lance is the comic relief of UGoI, the one who draws the attention of female monsters, the one who gets the funny syphilis, it stands to reason that he is plagued by unluck. On the other hand, he has survived for seven years in a monster-hunting group with no magical powers, occult training or super-soldier treatments, and he has survived beatings that could kill superheroes. Which, in my opinion, oughtta count for something.

Special Abilities: Lance is the master of a number of unique chi powers, many of which he only used once. Naturally, Lance can utilize a number of other, more common, chi techniques, including flight, moving too fast to be seen, detecting other's chi, and deflecting (and possibly reflecting) chi blasts fired at him.
