Hi everyone! Well I'm here again to give you
the sixth part of this ever so depressing fanfic!
I would like first of all thank everyone who has
supported meeh through every story I've written.
To Violet Ice and Twilight who inspired me and
advised me through all my stories. To Meriellen5
or Azurite which ever you prefer calling her, a big
hug from me to you. You've been like a sister to
me and with all my heart and soul thank you.
To all my supporters who have written I just
wanna say that your compliments mean the
world to me. I love you all.

I don't own SailorMoon. That's a simple fact for
you to remember. Oh yeah this is PG-13.

Oh yeah I've so far put a number of songs in
this story. So let's just call this list the
"Tears In Heaven" soundtrack. If you have
any of these songs listen to them:
Tears In Heaven Sung by Eric Clapton
Look at Me Sung by Geri Halliwell
Last Dance Sung by Allure

I'll have a new song each chapter.

It must've been cold there in my shadow,
To never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine (that's your way),
You always walked a step behind.
So I was the one with all the glory,
While you were the one with all the strain.
A beautiful face without a name (for so long),
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.

Did you ever know that you're my hero,
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the Wind Beneath My Wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
But I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth (of course I know it)
I would be nothing without you.

Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be.
I can fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the Wind Beneath My Wings.

Did I ever tell you you're my hero?
You're everything, everything I wish I could be.
Oh, and I can fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the Wind Beneath My Wings.
'Cause you are the Wind Beneath My Wings,
Oh, the Wind Beneath My Wings.

You, you, you.
You are the Wind Beneath My Wings.
Fly...Fly...Fly away...
You let me fly so high.

Fly...Fly...Fly so high against the sky,
So high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank God for you,
The Wind Beneath My Wings...

TEARS IN HEAVEN (Part Six)
BY: JLALA
The day of Motoki's funeral dawned bright and sunny. How ironic it
was that on the worst day of Usagi's life they would have the best
weather. Among the grievers was the family, Tagaki stood stiffly
looking at the coffin that held his only son. He put a strong hand
on his wife's sad shoulder, Akarui did nothing to prevent the steady
river of tears fall from her face. Her baby was gone. Her light. Her
son. She still
had Unazuki, as if reading her thoughts Unazuki took her mother's
hand. The two looked at one another and knew that they had each
other. Motoki would never die in their hearts. There was always
hope. Unazuki looked at the two lone figures standing directly in
front of the coffin. Usagi and Mamoru. In a black suit Mamoru
stood tall but the thought of saying another goodbye to someone
made his eyes fill with sad tears. Beside him Usagi stood somberly
in a black dress suit and black heels. Her hair was pinned in a
tight chignon and she wore a black hat with a veil that covered
part of her face. Around her neck was the ring that Motoki gave
her. She was the perfect picture of a fallen angel. Her eyes
were dully looking at the coffin and no tears fell from her
face. Among the crowd was Rei, Ami, Minako, and Makoto. They
stood behind her knowing that inside Usagi was crying. Reika,
Motoki's old flame had flown in from Africa with her husband.
She didn't cry knowing that her pain was not even half of
Usagi or Mamoru's. Reika loved Motoki, she always would
but she had said her good-byes look ago and started another
life.
"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust", the priest said. Everyone
bowed their heads in silent prayer. Usagi walked closer
to the coffin and placed a red rose on top of it. She
took out a paper and began to talk in a hoarse voice.

  When tomorrow starts without me,
  and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
  all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
  the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
  we didn't get to say.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
  I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
  please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name,
and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
  in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind,
  all those I dearly love.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

But as I turned to walk away,
a tear fell from my eye,
for all life, I'd always thought,
  I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
  so much yet to do,
  it seemed almost impossible,
  that I was leaving you.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

I thought of all the yesterdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and all the fun we had.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

  If I could relive yesterday,
  just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
  and maybe see you smile.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

  But then I fully realized,
  that this could never be,
  for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.

o¤§°¤°§¤o

And when I thought of worldly things,
  I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
  from His great golden throne,
  He said, "This is eternity,
  and all I've promised you".

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

Today for life on earth is past,
  but here it starts anew.
  I promise no tomorrow,
  but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

But you have been so faithful,
  so trusting and so true.
  Though there were times
  you did some things,
  you knew you shouldn't do.
  But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?

  o¤§°¤°§¤o

So when tomorrow starts without me,
  don't think we're far apart,
for everytime you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

She stopped, her voice tight with emotion and she heard the sad
cries of Motoki's family and friends. Her own eyes were dry, she
was all cried out. Beside she also saw that Mamoru wasn't crying
though very close to it. Their eyes met and though no one knew,
their pain was ten times as great. Motoki's family walked forward
placing roses on the coffin also and as the coffin lowered Takagi
threw his arms on it. He buried his face on the coffin among the
flowers and began to sob.
"My son!", He cried loudly and his wife who was crying also took
his hand. Tagaki turned and wrapped his arms around his wife.
She weeped in his arms and Unazuki hugged both her parents.
Usagi's friends walked to her and Minako hugged her tightly
knowing that though no words needed to be said. Usagi's pain
was great and nothing would help.
"Hey girl", Makoto said and put an around her. Her eyes were
wet still. "It's time to go"
"No, I think I'll stay awhile longer" The crowd was already
departing for the Furuhata's house.
"Usagi, you have to get some rest. At least some food", Rei said
to her friend. Usagi shook her head. Not yet. Rei's patience was
wearing thin but it was mostly out of worry. "You have to go.
It's time to say goodbye"
"NO! I WON'T GO!", She exploded loudly but then she let out a
melancholy breath and looked at Rei with unhappy eyes. Her
voice barely came out as a whisper. "Not yet" Rei's eyes
filled with sympathy for her friend.
"Do you want us to go?", Ami asked. Her blue eyes filled
with concerned for Usagi. She understood however that her
friend wanted to mourn privately. It was something that
Usagi didn't usually do though. She had always been open
with her feelings but this was different.
"Please", Usagi asked quietly. They all nodded and turned.
Minako suddenly turned to look at Usagi, her petite figure
standing all alone except for the people who were filling
Motoki's grave. There was someone else though. A man was
watching Usagi by a tree. She recognized it as Mamoru.
Why was he watching her?
The thought somehow didn't bother her. Maybe one day they
would get together. Usagi would get better soon. She hoped.
**************************************************************
It was only her there now. Usagi looked at the fresh grave and
at the headstone the bore Motoki's name. Not thinking she knelt
next to it, tracing his name with her fingers. How she missed
him. Her days seemed longer now that he was gone and the emptiness
inside seemed to grow bigger each day. Taking out another paper
from her pocket. Her eyes were filled with tears suddenly.
"I love thee to the level of everyday's most quiet need, by
sun and candlelight. I love thee freely, as men strive for
right; I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love
thee with a passion put to use in my old griefs, and with
my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to
lose with my lost saints,--I love thee with the breath,
smiles, tears, of all my life--and if God choose, I shall
love thee better after death" She paused for a moment
and suddenly a dam of tears broke from within. "Motoki!
I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything to
help you or ease your pain. I'm so sorry baby" Her tears
augmented with the grass and she leaned her head against
the stone. "I won't forget you, I promise"
**************************************************************
"Thanks for driving us Mamoru", Rei said. "Usagi's parents brought
us to the funeral but left the dinner early"
"It's no problem, I wanted to check on Usagi anyways. I was getting
worried" In the back of the car Minako looked at him in wonder.
He was awfully concerned.
"You guys think she's still there?", Ami asked from Minako's side. "The
sun almost going down" Her worry for Usagi was great for she knew how
delicate she was. The car stopped and they saw Usagi knelt down, her
hand touching Motoki's headstone. They hurriedly got out of the car.
As they reach her, she gave no sign of acknowledging their presence
or even knowing they were there. Makoto knelt near her and put a hand
on her shoulder.
"Usagi, it's time to go. The sun is going down", She said and Usagi looked
at them with confused eyes. She didn't realize that had been there
for hours.
"It is?" The sun had set long ago. There was only darkness.
"Don't you wanna go home?", Ami asked and gave her friend a soft smile.
"We can go get something to eat"
"What are you still doing here Usa?", Rei asked, her eyebrows knitted
in worry. Usagi looked up at them with innocent, morose eyes.
"I just didn't want Motoki to be alone", He answered simply.

The first poem Usagi read was an anonymous poem called "When tomorrow
starts without me" and the other one was by Elizabeth Browning. I
make no claims to writing any of these poems. Anyways I hope you
like the story so far. Writing it has me made so depressed! But I
think I'm getting a little emotional! Anyways write meeh and tell
me what you think! Ja ne!
