Chapter5: First Love
Moon Kingdom
It had been 5 years since the strange occurinces and
nothing had happened. No one attacked, or defended.
There was no battle and no evil force some said. Every
one forgot about it and got on with their normal lives.
Serena was now 14 and blossoming beautifully. Raye
was older than Srena and had taken a liking to Chadwick,
Mars Knight, and still practices her meditations etc.
Amy has become a rather pretty an intelligant young
lady who has become attracted to Gregary, Mercury Knight,
who is equally as interested in intelligince. Lita has
become a master cook and martial arts specialist ( which
her father perhibits her to do) and has also found some
one she likes, Ken, Jupiter Knight. And finally Mina
who has become amaster in love potions, she has also
got a boyfriend, Antonio, Venus Knight. Serena now
likes Prince Endymion (Darien) from Earth. The news
of the evil faded into space and was forgotten. Serena
stopped having those dreams after two more. We join our
group on Saturn for the birthday of Hotaru. "Cake is
served" yelled the cook of Saturn. It was a choclate
devils food cake topped with whipped cream and arranged
cherries. Arranged on the table were sprinkles and
toppings for the cake if desired by the guests. Hotaru
blew out the candles, guests sang a tune of merriment in
honor of her birthday and they ate. Hotaru took a bite
and was full. Serena looked over at her. "Whats wrong
Hotaru, do you not like your cake?"Hotaru shook her head
as in to say she liked it. "on no" The Queen of Saturn
turned to her daughter then to her husband. "Uhhhh"
Hotaru collapsed to the ground.
" Well it was a lovely party but too bad it was cut
short." eberyone wasnt suprised, Hotaru always fainted
and never ate. " Her powers came at a price "Serena's
mother always said. Serena never minded it though
neither did eney of the other princesses.
Back in Moon Kingdom
" Serena, dear." Ms. Jenny ran down the corridors to
Serena's chamber. Inside Serena was preparing for the
arrival of the Earthlings. "Serena they're here, they
are approaching the kingdom."..Serena was wearing her
occasional gown, silky white, milky pearls, and gold
circles alighned at the top completed by odangos and
pearls in her hair. "Oh you .............look..........
beautiful....Serena." Serena turned and signaled to the
folded pile of worn dress sitting on her banity.
"Oh, why yes I forgot." "Its perfectly ok." "they are
her, they are her!" a servant ran down the corridors
repoeting to the unaware residents. "Oh well I'm off
Ms. Jenny." Serena glided into the hall down the staircase
to the entrance where her mother was waiting. Darien
looked up at the princesses that was gliding down the
stairs torwards him. " Ono-Usagi it is a pleasure to
see you again." She smiled"Why it is the same for me."
He knelt in front of the princess and kissed her hand
gently. They had a joyous meal and the group split up
in three groups. Serenity and the King went to the tea
room to discuss foreign matters, while the two brothers
went into the armor room, and Serena and Darien went
to the Imperial Garden. "Its so gorgeos out here, the
gardeners do an acceptional job." Darien smiled and
turned to Serena"Yes quite, but Serena I must confess
something to you, lets go somewhere else." They walked
to a garden balcony, and sat down on a stone bench, it
overlooked an outside garden in a sea of moonlight, with
fountains and flowers. It was an romantic sight. Darien
examined the veiw, then looked up at Serena taking her
hands in his. "Serena I now must confess something to you
I've held back for so long." Serena smiled and turned
torwards him."Yes, Darien?"
"Serena I've always liked you since we first metand......"
"Yeas?" Serena sounded eager now. "Serena, I'm in love
with you."Serena's mouth widened as so did her eyes.
"Darien I love you too, I've loved you since the day
you gave me the rose, I just didn't know you liked me."
They exchanged smiles and went into an intimite kiss.
