Personality: Previously loud, annoying, like all nerds. Now usually lots more reserved, with a hint of cool. A much improved public speaker. Has soft spot for weak guys and rejects like himself.

Normal Appearance: Mousy-brown hair, now neatly combed. Brown eyes behind thin trendy glasses, 5'0", 98 lbs. Navy blue school uniform with fishhead sneakers. Much less geeky than earlier.
Villian Appearance: A 5' tall insect with saucer-sized multi-lens eyes, four spindly arms, dragonfly-style wings, long, thin, knife-sharp proboscis, and a dark blue shelled segmented body.

Powers:
Swarm Call: He can call swarms of bugs for his bidding, be it smoke-screen, assault, fetching small items, or what have you.
Flight: Can fly like a hummingbird. Can carry up to his body weight while airborne.
Weapons/Equipment:
Ants' Revenge Glass: A very large circular magnifying glass that focuses sun rays or incadescent light into a very hot, burning beam. Doesn't work at night or on overcast days.
Armtop Computer: A small, cellular-modem computer with curvable screen Melvin has strapped under his left sleeve. He scammed it from a high-end electronics shop's website. Can get internet access almost wherever he goes.

Past History:
Back in Juuban High, Melvin was your typical scrawny, four-eyed, intelligent freak. He buddied up with Serena and Molly Baker (well, he buddied, they blew him off). After Serena disappeared when Sailor Moon died, he became depressed and more introverted. When things got nastier as bullies took over, he ran a lot more.
Then he ran into Negaverse warrior Argocite, alias Joey Whitehurst, who corrupted him with a touch of his Tainting Crop. After two days of hanging out with his new friend, and a big fight with Guardian, Melvin found himself allied with Argocite, convinced he was good and Guardian was bad.

Current History:
Melvin's now back to school as usual. During his off time, he usually talks to fellow outcast students, and tries to bring them over to Joey, so he can indoctrinate them into the Negaverse. So far, he's got a small following. He also collects compromising gossip on his schoolmates, teachers, and others he meets and files them away to exploit later.
