Name: CereCere
Alias: Cara
Age: 16
Birthday: August 20
Sign: Leo
Blood Type: AB
Favorite Flower: Peach-colored tea roses
Favorite Subject: Botany
Least Favorite Subject: World History
Favorite Food: Mangoes
Least Favorite Food: Cheese
Favorite Colors: Pink/Yellow
Hobbies: Flower arranging, associating with rich people
Strengths: CereCere isn’t afraid to dream big; she won’t settle for
less if
the best is available. Also, no job is too big or too small (well,
okay,
sometimes too small); she is hardworking. She sticks closely to her
allies
as well, giving them plenty of support (though probably for her own
ulterior motives).
Weaknesses: CereCere has a real problem with authority. She just can’t
take orders or advice, and sometimes makes a bad move just to spite her
betters. Also, she is too ambitious, and tends to bite off more than
she
can chew in hopes of attaining status.
Goals: Her main goal is to have a lot of power over other villains and
dominate those common heroes. She also wants to steal the prettiest
dreams
since she considers them her sisters, she wants to find the rest of the
Amazonesses. Safety in numbers, right?
Fears: She is scared of very little, but put her in front of a large
animal
and she becomes a whimpering little child. Also, she’s terrified of
failure and becoming low-woman-on-the-totem-pole.
Personality: CereCere is quite high-class. She has very expensive tastes (limos, red carpets, diamond necklaces, etc.). Her clothes are always clean and neat (and from top designers). One would never catch her doing manual labor or hanging out with the lower class. She loves to hang around top class people, eating expensive food and chatting. Even her chatting shows off her refinement; she always uses impeccable language and speaks in a silky, albeit high voice. Her voice often hides vicious undertones, and this could prove lethal to her enemies. She can be downright deceitful at times; lying and expressing false feelings are her specialties. She prides herself as a mistress of disguise and master actress, able to take on any undercover role and play it convincingly. Sometimes, she’s a dancer, sometimes a cocktail waitress, and sometimes an artist. Her sense of humor fun of superiors by using their own words. However, she would never be deceitful or cold to her closest friends. She treats them as her family and drags them everywhere with her, whether they like it or not. Around them, she lets her hair down a little and loves to play games like rock-paper-scissors and hide-and-seek. Sometimes, though, she gets on everyone’s nerves. She is extremely stubborn, not budging once she has made a decision. She also is somewhat bossy, and will shove her decisions down someone’s throat if he won’t accept them. Seeming to have trouble with authority, she gets in trouble often for mouthing off at her superiors or defying their wishes. However, she usually atones for her impunity. She works hard, and has a lot of initiative. She tries to do her jobs thoroughly, and is usually one of the first people to volunteer for a task (as long as it isn’t too debasing). She rarely volunteers just out of good will, though. She is ambitious, and hopes that with every task, she gets closer to the top of the villain hierarchy.
Normal Appearance: Cara is usually pretty easy to pick out in a crowd,
probably because of her singular hairstyle. Her hair is bright pink
and
extremely long. She wears part of her hair up in a bun on top of her
head
and has a big yellow bow behind the bun. Around her ears she wears
part of
her hair in a pair of big pink loops. The rest of her hair is pulled
into
two ankle-length pigtails with little pink pom-poms on the end. At the
top
of each of her pigtails is a large yellow bow. Going along nicely with
her
hair color is the color of Cara’s eyes: a cinnamon red. Her eyes are
very
large in comparison with the rest of her features; they take up half
her
face. The rest of her facial features are very delicate and
refined-looking; her nose, for example, looks like it would break off
if
she fell. Cara’s body frame is very wiry and lithe-looking, almost
like a
cat’s. She doesn’t have a whole lot of curves and is very short,
barely
over 5’ tall (this bothers her to no end). Cara always dresses in
clean,
pretty, expensive-looking clothes. She particularly likes 70’s-style
dresses in with lots of pricey gems, floral patterns, and bright
colors.
Going along with her floral pattern theme is a tattoo of a bunch of
flowers
on her left shoulder blade. In the tattoo there are four flowers: a
pink
one, a blue one, a green one, and a red one; the flowers represent the
Amazoness Quartet, the other members of which she has been searching
for.
Villian Appearance: CereCere looks almost identical to Cara, in that
her
hair, eyes, tattoo, and body shape are exactly the same. However, her
outfit is much different. She has a little dark pink gemstone on her
forehead, and, above that, she wears a little red flower that looks
hot-glued onto her head. She wears a halter-top that looks a lot like
part
of a bikini. It consists of dark pink triangles, with light pink along
the
edges. Between the triangle things, very little is left to the
imagination, since quite a lot of cleavage is revealed. In between the
triangles is a big red flower (a similar one is at her throat). Little
gold
straps support the triangles and crisscross at her throat before going
back
behind her neck. CereCere’s skirt is similarly revealing; it
consists of
a dark pink bikini bottom lined with light pink and held up by a pair
of
red flowers at her hips. Beneath the bikini bottom is a (very) short
yellow skirt. Matching the skirt are CereCere’s bracelets; they look
like
thick gold bands decorated with big red flowers. Her only other
jewelry is
a pair of red flower-shaped earrings. CereCere’s shoes look like
little
pink ballet shoes that have heels and a flower on each shoe where the
straps crisscross.
Powers are based off of: Plants
Henshin Phrase:She doesn't really have one; she just snaps and a wall
of
rose petals come down, covering her up. She grabs the sides of the
wall
and throws it off to the side, and she's in villain form.
Powers:
Yellow Gem ____ - This can do a number of things. CereCere
stretches out her left hand in front of her, and her gem appears in her
hand. If she says, “Yellow Gem Transport,” she will teleport herself
from
a given location to the circus, and vice versa. Whenever she teleports
herself, little yellow and pink rose petals appear. If she completes
her
phrase with “Nectar,” the gem produces a gooey substance that covers
the
target all over, providing a distraction. By ending the phrase with
“Thorns,” CereCere causes the ball to produce multiple yellow shards,
which
fly at the target. Instead of causing physical damage, the shards pin
the
target to the ground/wall/whatever. The last word with which this
phrase
can be completed is “Fragrance.” This makes the gem release a cloud of
heavy-scented gas, which causes everyone in the room to become sluggish
and
drowsy; however, this includes CereCere’s allies as well. The Yellow
Gem
attacks are mostly diversion tactics designed to get CereCere out of
danger.
Peyote Gem - This is CereCere’s most useful attack. She makes a
twirling
motion with her hand, and a long pool stick, all chalked up and ready
to
go, appears in her hands. She spins the stick around on her fingertips
a
few times before leveling it at about shoulder level. As she bends
down to
aim, her gem appears at the end of the pool stick. Suddenly, she pulls
back the stick and then shoots the gem at her target. The gem never
hits
the target directly. Instead, it hits the ground at the target’s feet,
and
a thick, spiny vine sprouts from the ground. The vine keeps growing
larger
and larger until it is able to find the target and wrap around it like
a
rope. The vine begins to squeeze, and the target’s dream mirror
appears
outside the vine. After CereCere grabs the dream mirror, the vine
disappears, dropping the poor target to the ground.
Weapons/Equipment:
Gem - CereCere almost always has her gem somewhere
nearby. She uses it to steal dreams, as well as in some of her
attacks.
Pool Stick - CereCere only uses this to shoot her gem at people to get
their dreams. It really isn't used that much.
Past History:
CereCere was born on the large asteroid Ceres during the
Silver Millennium. She was supposed to grow up to be Sailor Ceres,
part of
a second generation of senshi. During her childhood, she spent a lot
of
time in training. She learned the various ways of fighting, along with
some of the finer arts. Her favorite part of training was her long
walks
with her uncle, who taught her about all the plants in her family’s
large
garden. She also enjoyed getting to meet all the famous people of the
day
and associating with the wealthy members of her parent’s social class.
However, she soon became disillusioned with her destiny as a senshi
because
it meant forever being subordinate to someone. Because of the lack of
upward mobility, CereCere started putting less effort into her studies
and
training. She was really too young to be of help when Queen Beryl
attacked
the Moon Kingdom, but she probably would not have helped anyway. Queen
Serenity, at the fall of her kingdom, sent all the senshi, CereCere
included, to a new life on earth so that they might have another
chance.
CereCere was reborn as Cara, and her life was indeed a good one. Her
parents were filthy stinking rich, and spoiled her rotten since she was
an
only child. She was privately tutored from her earliest years, so she
never had much contact with other children. However, she was thrust
into
society when her parents sent her to a private boarding school in
Tokyo.
She hated all the children there and believed them to be beneath her.
However, she disguised her disgust in order to retain any possibility
of
having the other students to call on. She got involved in many
political
organizations at school, and was even student body vice president.
Still,
her power didn’t satisfy her. She wanted more power, but knew that she
couldn’t go on pretending to like her classmates. Instead of facing up
to
her feelings and losing her position, she decided to run away.
Cara wandered aimlessly around Tokyo for several days, not quite
knowing
what to do with herself. In the end, she decided to find a job that
paid
well so she could keep supporting herself. She already had plenty of
money, and was staying in a hotel (living on the streets was just
so…plebian). However, no one was really interested in hiring such a
young
girl. One day, she discovered an ad in the newspaper calling for a
trapeze
artist. The ad said to contact Nehlinia of the Dead Moon Circus; Cara
did
so, since she was pretty agile and because she thought the prospect of
being a star was exciting. She signed on, not really knowing what the
job
would entail, and was given a yellow gem. She became CereCere, a
trapeze
artist by day and a dream-stealing villain by night. She never really
had
second thoughts about her job, because she saw stealing dreams as
simply a
way to attain money and power.
Current History:
As a member of the Dead Moon Circus, Cara spent a lot
of
time as CereCere, the Magician of Plants. She traveled around from
city to
city, steal dreams from various people. She particularly liked to take
the
dreams of wealthy people, on the logic that their dreams made them
successful and were therefore beautiful. She always tried to outdo the
other circus members, hoping to gain power and favor with Nehlinia.
She
often worked with others, though, since safety lied in numbers. Though
her
groups of villains. After all, she knew she would need some support if
she
was ever going to claw her way to the top of the villain hierarchy.
CereCere didn’t find out about her senshi past until she came to
Tokyo.
She decided to visit a mystic just for fun, and ended up finding out a
little more than she bargained for. At first, she would not believe
it,
but eventually she came to accept her past. She was partly disgusted
that
she would ever debase herself so much as to follow those goody-two
shoes;
she was also partly excited by the possibility, since she could always
play
her past on the senshi and use it as a spying tool. CereCere never
really
had many run-ins with the senshi, but she had seen them mess up the
plans
of her fellow villains. This irritated her to no end, since she viewed
the
senshi as a group below her. She decided that she needed to find the
other
members of a group from her past: the Amazoness Quartet. Together, she
reasoned, they could defeat the senshi. Besides, she wanted to find
them
because they were linked by a past purpose and were her family, in a
way.
She is still stealing dreams, trying to find the Amazonesses, and
trying to
evade the senshi. However, these are all a part of her grand dream of
becoming wealthy and powerful. She doesn’t want to be bothered with
imposters and wants to stay out of the senshi’s notice as much as
possible,
though. For those reasons, she is hanging out in the shadows, waiting
for
just the right time to pounce and make herself known.
