Elizabeth sat in the park reading over a book she had just bought. She didn't know why she bought this box. "The Moon and its History," was written on the cover. She had been sitting there for almost an hour and was getting into the book. The breeze blow gentle. Moving some of her hair out of place. Elizabeth didn't bother to put it back since she was to into reading.
Michiru watched the lake in silence. So much had happened in the past few weeks. So many memories flying back to her, like a hot wind off a desert. She started to head home when a familar face stopped her. She smiled and walked over to Elizabeth. "Interesting book?" she asked with a smile.
Elizabeth heard a voice and looked up at the person. Her eyes scanned the person. "Michiru. Yes its a very interesting book," she said and motioned to the bench she was sitting on. "Care to sit down?" she asked.
Michiru took a seat. "Are you alright?" she asked.
Elizabeth had been staring at the book as Michiru sat down. "Oh. Nothing. Im alright. I have been enjoying this book. The author has a chapter in here about the Moon that was interesting. He claims that one side of the Moon has more craters then any other part. They say no metors have hit that side and its mystery to how they got there," she said and looked at Michiru. "Isn't that strange?"
Michiru stared at the ground in front of her. her face like stone. "Yes, strange." she agreed in a whisper as she fubbled with her crystal. "Do you believe in re-incarnation?" she asked.
Elizabeth looked at Michiru for a moment and blinked. "Re-incarnation? Well I have read books about it and scene shows," she said and looked at the book once more. "Yes I do believe in it," she said.
Michiru shook her head. "Had I been asked a year ago I would have just laughed. But now..." she said, flashes of her past wizing by in an instant. "Now I don't know what to think. I have visions...visions of a past life. Visions I want to just go away!"
Elizabeth looked at Michiru and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Michiru. It will be ok," she said to her. Trying to calm her down. "Let me tell you something," she said and closed the book and put it down. "Since I moved here and started going to school with you, Dunican, Minako, Jakurin , Blake, Jeremy, Jennifer and the others, I have been having weird dreams lately. Dreams that I can't explaine. I am on a different place. A place that I can see the Earth. So I guessed it is on the Moon. That is way I bought this book," she explained.
Michiru nodded understandingly. "This might sound crazy, but with my visions, I'm willing to bet that at one time there was life on the moon. A peaceful life, that was taken away by force." she said unconciously.
Elizabeth looked at Mictiru with amazment. "Really?" she said. "It sounds like my dream almost," she said. "Do you think it could be the same?" she asked.
Michiru smiled. "Weird things happen every day." she said softly. "But tell me...tell me in detail about your dreams. And I'll tell you mine." she said.
"Well," said Elizabeth as she started to think about her dream. "I see myself standing on the steps of a castle...or palace, I am not sure which. I see a rose gardens and fountains all over. The outfit I am wearing is weird; its a silver cape and a silver uniform with black boots and white gloves. There is a sword on my left side on my waist," she explained. "There is a man to my right. I don't know who he is but he is tall and is wearing the same uniform but its darker then mine," she said.
Michiru watched her with interest. *That sounds like the Silver Millennium dreams I've had.* she wondered. "Anything else?" she asked.
"Come to think of it yes. Standing near the the bottom of the steps is a group of girls wearing sailor uniforms. Come to think of it they look like what the Sailor Senshi here wear but they are a bit different," he explained.
"How different?" she asked curious.
Elizabeth thought before replying. "The colors they were wearing were red, light blue orange, and green," she explained. "Does that help?"
Michiru stood up. "Yeah...yeah it does, kinda." she said. "What about the man standing beside you?" she asked.
Elizabeth shrugged. "I am not sure. His face is covered in a shadow so I can't see him so good," she said to her. "Are you leaving so soon?" she asked.
Michiru shook her head. "I thought I heard something in the wind." she replied. "Sorry, its just I've had similar dreams, but they are more like nightmares then dreams."
Elizabeth looked at Michiru then sighed. "Let me guess," she said to her softly. "There is a large battle and everyone is getting killed around you and you can't stop it?" she said looked to the ground.
Michiru shook her head. "Not quite." she said. "More like, there's a large battle and I'm killed." she replied.
Elizabeth looked at her and then back to ther ground. "You too huh?" she said softly. "Everytime I think about it I start to get a headache," she said and held her head in her hands. "You are the first person I have told about my dreams," she said.
"I don't get headaches. I just get afraid. Afraid that the dreams will one day become a reality." she said. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone. Who would believe me anyway?" she asked with a smile.
"Thank you Michiru," she said with a smile. "I just wish my father would leave me alone. He wants me to see a doctor because of my weird behavior," she said and looked at the book cover again. "I yelled at him one day and told him he wasen't my real father," she explained. "For some deep dark reason I feel he is not my real father."
Michiru shook her head. "Most parents don't understand their kids. Don't worry, its a natural feeling. My parents think I was switched at birth, but then again I don't live with them any more." she explained.
Elizabeth smiled to Michru. "I know what you mean," she said to her. "I have been labeled a rebel since I was 7. My parents think I am from a different planet," she said and laughed. "Sometimes I think they are right," she said and got up. "Hungry?" she asked.
Michiru nodded and smile. *If only she knew the truth.* she thought. "Why not go hit that pizza place that Jakurin works at." she suggested.
"Sure. That sounds like fun," she said and grabbed her book off the bench and started towards there. "But no anchovies though ok?" she said and laughed.
Michiru nodded. "I totally agree. I don't like my sushi on my pizza." she said. "Tell me, does the name, Serenity mean anything to you?" she asked out of the blue.
Elizabeth thought for a moment. She looked to the sky, as if thinking back to time that was so distant to her. "I think it does," she said softly. "Serenity...It sounds like someone I know so long ago. We were so close like sisters," she said in nearly a whisper about Michiru was able to hear her.
"Serenity is the name I hear myself calling over and over again in my dreams. I also hear other voices calling it as well." she explained.
"She had to be an important person in your dreams and mine too I guess," said Elizabeth softly. "I wonder who she was in our dreams."
"A Princess." Michiru said softly. "She was a princess with a wonderful dream to unite the galaxy in peace. And with a tragic love, for she fell in love with a man that was not only not excepted by her people, but a man who had also caught the eye of a very beautiful, but evil woman. A woman who would stop at nothing to have him all for herself." she said.
Elizabeth listened to Michiru. "What does all this mean? I mean this princess and her prince seem so important. Almost like this is a fairy tail," she said as she looked at the ground and tired to but this all together. "Im I going crazy Michiru?" she asked
Michiru shook her head. "No, not as crazy as I am. the only question is, how is it you fit into all this?" she asked.
"What do you mean? I don't understand? How do I fit into what?" asked Elizabeth as she looked at Michiru for answers to many questions that were going through her mind.
Michiru smiled gently. "I wish I could give you all the answers you wanted. But I can't. I don't even know everything I should know." she said gently.
Elizabeth sighed and looked down at the ground for a moment. She then looked at Michiru with a small smile. "Well one day everything will be explained," she said and looked at her watch. "How about that pizza?" she said and smiled.
