Cyra looked at the sky out of her bedroom
window.
The night before was followed by the same dream again,
just
like it had for the last two years. * I wish I could
understand those dreams and figure out why I have
them.*
Cyra then walked from her window and
towards
the
bathroom carrying her school uniform and prepared to
get
ready for school. She walked out minutes later grabbed
her
things for school and left.
Michiru stood outside the school building. She tried a new hair style this morning and was looking for a good victim to use it on. She saw an approaching girl and smiled. "She looks new...either that or I've never seen her before." she muttered and approached the girl. "Hi there." she said.
Cyra looked at the person who had just approached her. " Hi, I'm new and I was looking for someone to show me around for a while. By the way I'm Cyra," she said.
Michiru smiled. *How cute..a new girl.* she thought. "Well, you ran into the right person. I'm Michru..what's your first class?" she asked looking at the schedule.
Jeremy shook his scarred face and sighed inwardly to himself, *Poor girl. First day and the school tramp's already got her sights on her. I suppose it is to be expected though.* He closed his eye and leaned against the wall of his shadowy corner, awaiting the thunderous ring of the school bell.
" It's nice to meet you Michiru," Cyra said. She then looked at her schedule. " It seems that I have Gym first, what about you," she said.
Jeremy glanced at the watch clasped around his left, black glove covered hand, twenty minutes before classes began. He shook his head at the new student and headed for the gym, *Might as well start my early morning workout early.*
Michiru smiled. "Alright. I don't have gym, but I can take you by there." she said. "Where did you transfer from?"
" Thanks," Cyra said. " I transferred from T*A Private School for Girls." I decided that I wanted to transfer here instead of going back there at the beginning of the year. Besides it was my parents idea to send me to an all girl school and I got tired of it."
Michiru laughed a bit. "Oh I'm sure you had alot of excitement there. Good for you that you stood up to your parents to. You can't let them boss you around for life." she said.
" I certainly did have fun convincing them to let me come here. They didn't like the idea of me coming here but I convinced them to let me, which took me a couple of weeks but here I am. I even got them to change their mind when they told me I couldn't transfer. Cyra then laughed a little. " By the way who teaches gym," Cyra asked?
Michiru giggled a bit. "Couch Sanjoun. A very handsome couch, but very strict and mean. I transferred out of his class because he didn't appreciate my flirting. Can you imagine a teacher who doesn't enjoy looking at young girls? What is this school coming to?" she cried.
Jeremy overheard Michiru's final statement and spoke calmly, "A school that doesn't appreciate your activities with the so many students."
" Or maybe he just likes to look at young men and he thinks that we girls are weaker than the male species," Cyra said laughing. She then stopped laughing. " And what exactly do you mean by flirting Michiru. Is it with boys, girls, or both?"
Michiru smiled. "Everyone is beautiful sweetie. Male or female..its finding that beauty that I'm interested in. And to do so, sometimes it takes a bit of persuasion to get it out. understand?" she asked.
"Perhaps on either, or it could simply be that he has no interest in the school slut so she wishes to spread rumors of him," Jeremy's cold even voice stated as he walked away, knowing Michiru got the point of who he was talking about.
" I think I do understand Michiru and I have no interest in being anything other than friends with females. Do you understand that, Cyra said smiling.
Michiru smiled. "Sweetie, you only gotta tell me once. I understand fully that not everyone swings the same way I do, and I fully respect that. But if one of these jerks around here ticks you off or something, you come see me." she said. "I'll straighten them out perminatly."
"Thanks I'll do just that. Besides I have no doubts that you would be able to handle anyone who gets on my nerves. By the way thanks for showing me where the gym was," Cyra said heading off in that direction.
Michiru smiled and walked off towards her next class.
Couch Sanjoiun stopped the class as the new girl walked into the gym. "Can I help you miss?" he asked in his husky voice.
Cyra walks up to Couch Sanjoun. " First of all my name's Cyra, second of all I'm in your class sorry if I was late," she said handing him her schedule. " And lastly if there is anything else you'll like to know I'll tell you later. * And more importantly stay off my friend's Michiru's case.*
Couch Sanjouin raised an eyebrow after looking at the schedule. "Very well, since its your first day I won't hold you accountable. Any day after today though if you're late you run till I get tired. Its too late for you to dress out today, so go into my office and get the stack of forms on my desk. read them, sign them and then bring them to me. They are just the necessary forms saying, 'If you get hurt, you're responsible, not me.'" he said handing her to keys to his office and pointed her in the general direction before turning back to the class.
Jeremy watched from the edge of the weight room above the gym. He merely shook his head at the rude actions of the teacher and lifted himself onto the safety bars, doing a full head stand, gripping the bars, as he started bending his legs, splitting them neatly as he focused his balance, in what to most was a dangerous position, but to Jeremy was nothing, and enhanced his training, because if he fell he could practice his falling techniques.
Cyra took the keys as well as her schedule
and
went
in the direction that Sanjouin pointed her to go. *
Creep
well at least I don't have to run today *. Cyra
reached his
office and unlocked the door using the key. As Cyra
went
inside she saw the stack of forms that Coach Sanjouin
told
her to read and sign. Cyra took two just in case she
messed
up on the first one and placed the other in her
notebook. "
I wonder if the high and mighty Coach Sanjouin lets
just
anyone enter his office when he's not in it. Well
knowing
how strict and how much of a creep he is. He probably
has
some kind of security system hidden somewhere," she
whispered.
As she left Sanjouin's office Cyra then said
something in another language without understanding
how she
knew it. * That was the language that is always spoken
in
my dream. How did I know it *. Cyra locked Sanjouin's
office and sat outside of the gym and waited for the
class
to end. * Knowing him the penalty of interrupting his
class
a second time is a having to run or something far
worse *.
Cyra then started to read the forms, when she finished
Cyra
took out a blue pen and signed the forms keeping the
other
form for her parents to read. Because for some strange
reason she didn't trust Coach Sanjouin not at all.
Couch Sanjouin blew his whistle and everything stopped. "Alright everyone, hit the showers. See you tomorrow." he said and then turned to Cyra. "I hope you understood the syllabus alright. If you have any questions please feel free to ask." he said walking up to her to collect the papers.
" Yes I understood the syllabus just fine," she said. Cyra then handed the papers over to Coach Sanjouin as well as the keys to his office. " I'm sure I will ask if any questions do come up, Coach Sanjouin and I'll try not to be late tomorrow. Cyra looked at her schedule before leaving the gym. * Just the class I needed next Math. Boring if today wasn't my first day I would skip, but I guess I do have to go. Even it isn't one of my strong points * . " Actually I do have a question by any chance do you know where this room is," she said showing Sanjouin her schedule.
Sanjouin looked at the room number and nodded. "Go up the stairs and its the first door to your left." he said.
"See you tomorrow then," Cyra said. " Cyra then headed in the direction that Sanjouin told her to go in.* I wonder what class Michiru has next and if she can tell me more about Coach Sanjouin.*
Sanjouin watched the girl leave. "Interesting energy around that girl." he muttered and turned back to the gym.
Michiru sat bored in her Math class. "Maybe I'll skip today." she sighed. When she watched Cyra walk in she smiled. "Then again maybe not! Cyra, there's a seat over here. Did you survive evil Couch Sanjouin's gym class?" she asked with a smile.
Cyra smiled when she saw Michiru. * Good now I'll
have
someone to talk to during this class*. She then went
to sit
in the seat that Michiru pointed to. " Actually he
wouldn't
let me change because I was late and he told me that
next
time I would have to run until he gets tired. I can
bet you
that he would never get tired and I would be stuck
running
for ages. He also gave me the key to his office and
told me
to get some forms off his desk as well as to read and
sign
them. I didn't trust him so I took an extra copy for
my
parents to read."
" So do you know anything else about the evil Coach
Sanjouin that I should be warned about." she said
smiling.
Michiru smiled. "Oh not much, just that if you get on his bad side, you can expect to run all semester. Of course there is that one guy that defied him and was kicked out of his class. See the Coach, for some unknown reason, likes to break up the fights on campus. There was this guy that transferred here that took the job from him...a student took the job of breaking up fights!" she said almost astioningly. "Well, he has made a name for himself and everyone leaves him alone, but its eerie. He's so cold, like he doesn't want anyone around him. Anyway..I'm rambling. The Coach just isn't one to mess with." she said.
In his office, Coach Sanjouin closed his eyes. *Leo, power of the mighty lion, get me the energy from the new girl...I want to know what is so special about her energy.* he sent telepathically to his creature.
Blood streamed from the small group's mouths as they laid on the floor. They had tried to get the best of him, tried to casually ambush from the bathroom, but they had failed. Sometimes it seemed that his stand against fights and bullies brought him more trouble, if you could call the pathetic trio of gang bangers trouble. He brushed his hands off as he felt an impact slam him straight through the math room's door. As his back hit the ground he brought his knee up, sending the assailant smoothly over everyone's head and into the wall across the room. With a quick ease he propped himself to his feet and glanced at the goon and shook his head. The man lying there was one of the student's father, the student who had planned to vandalize the Coach's Ferrari before he had stepped in. He shook his head, most people wouldn't have been a match for the 200 pound plus brute, but then again he wasn't like most. He was Jeremy Satterlee, the Guardian of the Sailor Senshi. It was his job to be the best.
" Anything a person does would get on that guy's bad side, if I right all someone would have to do is talk and they would get on his bad side. That's probably why every instinct in my entire body warned me not to trust him when I first met him," she said. Cyra then looked out of the window by her seat. " Michiru, have you ever had strange dreams before and not know what they meant but feel that they have a connection to you in some way"?
Michiru glanced up. *What is it with everyone telling me about their weirdo dreams? First Darien with his dream of some girl..THATS NOT ME..now this girl..might as well listen.* she thought and smiled. "Kinda, I mean we all have them...right?" she asked.
Leo stalked the halls of the High School. It could smell it, the scent of new energy to be drained. A powerful energy. his master would be pleased.
Cyra looked at Michiru. " They started when I first turned 15. I would always dream about some planet being destroyed and have a strange feeling that I always belonged there," Cyra said. Some nights the dreams would have me training for something important, and others would always be about being told that everyone I loved was dead. I don't believe that I will ever be able to understand those dreams."
Michiru listened and nodded. "Well, maybe you had a traumatizing experience as a child and you're sub conscious is just now getting it out." she suggested. "I'm not very good with interrupting dreams, but I listen." she said.
Leo stalked the halls. A young girl walked out of the bathroom with a friend. Leo was immediately on top of the girl. Leo pinned the girl to the wall by the throat and started draining her energy. The girl screamed, but was quickly silenced. her friend backed up and took off down the halls, not knowing what to do.
Cyra shook her head. " My childhood was perfect except for the fact that I was adopted at the age of 6. But they have always treated me like I was part of the family, she said." My childhood also doesn't explain the new dreams that I've been having lately, she said. Cyra then looked towards the classroom door and saw someone running by in the halls.* I wonder what's going on.*
The Benefactor looked at the young girl Cyra from his mirror. *I sense a power from her. She maybe a Senshi that will help with this fight,* he thought and smiled. Opening his gloved hand the Benefactor teleported Cyra to his realm. "Welcome Cyra. I have been watching you," he said.
Cyra looked at The Benefactor. " Okay who are you and where in the world am I, and how did you know that my name is Cyra," she said.
The Benefactor gave Cyra a faint smile. "I see everything with my mirror," he said. "My name is the Benefactor. I looked guide and looked for Sailor Senshi," he explained. "You are in my realm," he said and opened his hand one more time. A transformation device appeared. "I feel a power with you Cyra. A power that will help the Earth defend against evil," he said and the stick floated over to Cyra. "Your dreams will come true when you take that device," said the benefactor.
Cyra looked at the transformation device that floated towards her. * If I take this device then my dreams will come true. I want to understand the dreams I've been having.* " If it will make my dreams come true then I accept," Cyra said reaching her hand out and taking the device.
Michiru watched Cyra disappear before her. *WHAT???* her mind cried. A scream filled the hall. All the students looked at each other. Michiru's eyes widened in fear. *An attack and I can't transform.* she thought looking at the doorway.
The Benefactor smiled faintly. "Now go and defend the world from evil," he said and then raised his hand and teleported Cyra back to school into an empty room.
Cyra immediately heard a scream as well, the minute she appeared in an empty room. * Something's wrong, well then I better go see what it is. But I'm not going as Cyra.* Cyra looked at the device that she had gotten from Benefactor. A image appeared in her mind and suddenly she knew what to say. Cyra then made sure that no one was around to see her transform and whispered, * Thunderstone Dragon Crystal, Make Up!* Cyra then stood in her sailor fuku and ran towards the direction of the scream. The minute she got there, she saw what was causing the trouble a youma. Sailor ThunderDragon's staff then appeared in one of her hands and she fired a single thunder ball in Leo's direction, in order to get his attention from the students. " No one has a right to hurt others and that includes an ugly creep like you," she said.
Leo roared and snarled at Thunder Dragon. "What a tasty little girl. I think she shall be my next lunch. I hope you enjoy death, its the last experience you'll have." the lion roared and lunged at Thunder Dragon, his teeth and claws ready to tear flesh apart.
Michiru ran out into the hallway. She saw the battle taking place. *A new Senshi? Great, but she looks like she could use a hand, and I can't find a empty area to transform.* she thought biting her lip.
Thunder Dragon jumped out of the path of Leo and landed behind him. " Well then I hope that you're ready to become dust, lion because that's what you'll be at the end of this day," she said. Thunder Dragon shot thunder out of her staff towards Leo again.
Leo leapt again, barely dodging the attack. "Impressive..but I can do the same." the lion replied and roared, sending a sonic wave at Thunder Dragon.
Michiru covered her ears from the noise. *GUARDIAN..Protect her! Where are you?* she silently prayed.
Thunder Dragon covered her ears as well. * Okay where are these other good guys that are suppose to fight evil. More importantly where aren't they here. Besides I need their help.* She then noticed Michiru covering her ears. " I must keep this monster from my friend," she said silently. Thunder Dragon then removed her hands from her eyes and stood up once again. She then raised her staff again. " Thunder Dragon, Strike!" A thunder ball in the shape of a dragon shoot out of it. * Please let it stun him it'll give me time to think of what to do next.*
A single blue rose soared past Michiru's head, following Thunder Dragon's attack as Guardian stood calmly behind the un-transformed Senshi. He watched the youma closely before speaking in his even voice, "I would not recommend continuing your assault, and as for you," he started not even glancing at Michiru, "I suggest you find someplace safe to hide until the battle has ended." He kept his stance as the attacks soared.
Michiru looked at the Guardian then at Sailor Thunder Dragon. *I can't just leave her here...but then again, she has help now and in this form I'll just be in the way.* she thought. Allowing the Guardian to block her escape she quickly ran for the nearest room and ducked inside.
The youma roared in pain as it was hit twice. "You think a silly rose and a zap of thunder is enough to stop me..You're WRONG!" it shouted and stomped its foot a few times. "Get ready to die!"
Guardian shook his head, evenly speaking, "No, a rose and thunder won't stop you, it is the souls behind it. The reason you never will win is because you youma are incapable of feeling the same emotions and having the same force of will as we humans." With that he slid his middle and index fingers apart, another blue rose appearing and let is sail, this one aimed for the eye.
Sailor Thunder Dragon looked at Guardian then at Leo. " Well I have one thing to say. It's a great day for turning you into dust," she said. Thunder Dragon then raised her staff towards Leo again and shot another thunder ball in his direction, in the same direction of Guardian's rose. " By the way I'm Thunder Dragon, she told Guardian.
Leo screamed in pain as the attacks hit him. Students and teachers started filing out of classrooms to see what all the commotion was about. Leo slowly turned into a pile of dust on the ground.
Guardian didn't say a word and he turned heading to a nearby open window. He climbed through it and glanced over his shoulder at Sailor Dragon, "You fought well Sailor Thunder Dragon. We shall meet again." With that he pushed upward, letting his legs soar as he flew into the air towards the roof, and upon landing home. School would be canceled for the remainder of the day.
Sailor Thunder Dragon quickly found a place to detransform and went to find her friend Michiru. * Too bad I can't let her know that I'm Thunder Dragon, besides she probably don't remember me as a senshi just yet.* " Michiru where are you Michiru," Cyra said.
Michiru stepped out from behind a door. "Over here...is it over?" she asked stepping out into the hallway. "Where did you go, you alright?" she asked.
Cyra walked up to Michiru. " Yeah I'm fine, Michiru," Cyra said placing her transformation device in her pocket. " You know Michiru I would tell you but I really don't think you would believe me. I'm about to head home besides the rest of school is canceled because of what happened anyway," she said.
Michiru looked at Cyra. "Alright...if you're sure you're ok." Michiru said with a smile. *Now to just find out who that new senshi was.* she thought as she turned and went towards the exit.
