These are the Rules for Alternate Realities: A Sailor Moon Role Playing Game. Please note that this game has a rating of R, especially for its more violent tendencies. A very warm thank you to the wonderful Gm at Imperium Knight's Crystal Tokyo for the use of his well thought out rules. And also a warm thank you to keep the confusion at a low by using the same rules. ^_^. THANK YOU! 1. Most importantly, have fun. ^-^ 2.Don't spam, flame, or make fun of other players or what they do or write. Now, if you want to make fun of their characters, be prepared for any and all reactions. *pictures a player getting flattened by a cow* 3.Please either turn off the <'s feature on your e-mail program or copy and paste the original message in a new one when you post. Usually we give about one warning on this before you're suspended. 4.Include all of the original text in your postings. When the messages get around 16k, I'll cut the message down and start a new part. At that point you merely keep everything to that new part. Key words here are, 'I WILL CUT IT!' No member should be cutting the emails, it will be either myself, my Co-Administrator or a senior member will when the time comes. I stress this again, 'I WILL CUT IT!' 5. Write all of your posts in past tense (example-'Jeremy walked down the hall' instead of 'Jeremy walks down the hall'). And don't forget to send a carbon copy of all RPs and posts to me, regardless of rather I'm in them or not. This way, I know what's going on and I can make sure no one violates the rules. 6. There is no limit to how many posts you can make in one day to a single story, but please try not to post more that 3-6 times a day and only post when the time is approiate. You only get one warning about posting and making posts that don't make sense. However, be able to post at least every other day in this game. We move at a fast pace and this RPG is extremely busy, so be ready for a lot of mail. If you don't post within two weeks time, you'll get a letter from me asking what's up. After that you will be given the boot if you do not respond by the amount of time I put in the email. Special Note: If you are going on vacation, _please_ inform me so I can find someone to play your characters if need be. 7. Do not modify another player's post. If you have a conern with what they posted, point it out to either myself or my Co-Admiinistrator and we will modify the post. If you modify a player's post you will be removed from the game immediately. 8. No playing other characters. You applied for one character and you can only control that one character. There are no auto hits in this game. All characters are given a chance to dodge an attack. Please let the person who is being attacked decide if it is a hit or not. If you feel the ruling is unfair, take it up with the GameMaster, NOT the player! Why? Refer to rule #2. Another side note to that is this: You CANNOT kill another player's character without their permission, unless their character is booted. And most characters, even your own, must get approval by me before killing them off. 9. You must have each of your characters in at least one RP at any given time or it will effect that charater's status in the game. For your first time, you must create an Entrance RPG that you plan out within two weeks of being accepted into the game. You can take part in in any general RP that is after your entrance on the timeline but you can not take part in Entrance RPGs until after yours is completed. Characters that are doing an entrance are not allowed to join other Entrance RPGs. They can join normal games. 10. Any adventures involving time travel or travel off planet must have their basic plots ran by me first and then I must approve them and may change them to fit our story. Characters must have time travel or dimensional travel abilities approved by myself and my co-Administrator. 11. Relationships between other characters are allowed but the other character must consent to it, although you may still have crushes without the other players consent. 12. Don't Steal Our Characters! Sounds like an obvious rule, right? Wrong! Two characters from this game have shown up in various other RPG submission emails. Our players worked extremly hard to get their characters into this game, and people stealing them is just really bad form. If I find characters taken from this game I will let the GM know and spread the word around the net. Please, don't take characters from this game! There are different status levels for characters in this game.
