Strengths: Intelligent, musically talented, strong-willed, and faithful.
Weaknesses: Introverted, low confidence especially in areas such as combat and heroics, lacks any real combat training, doesn't want to accept the responsibility of being a Senshi, and his devotion to his spirituality often times brings him into conflict with the truth of the events occurring around him.
Goals: Get out of high school, getting over his past, maybe falling in love, and becoming a professional musician or do something musically related.
Fears: Not being accepted by others of his age group, being engulfed by his past, and not becoming the person he wants to be.

Personality: To the outside world Mark appears to be a cold, uncaring young man who could care less of what happens in the outside world unless in some way it pertains to his own personal life. For him the only things that matter are the things important to him. Underneath that façade though is indeed a young teenager filled with warmth and compassion. That is the side of Mark that few see, the side of the sensitive teenager who wants to change the world through his actions. Despite this though many don't look on Mark as being totally heartless in comparison to their classmate Jeremy Satterlee.

Normal Appearance: Mark stands at an average height of 6 feet with a firm, muscular build to his physique. His hair is a deep brown which only serves to accent his hard blue eyes. In public Mark prefers to wear the typical dress style as many teenagers, preferring jeans and t-shirts over anything else.
Knight Appearance: As Vertigo Mark wears a black jumpsuit underneath his armor. His armor is a royal blue in color and consists of leg guards, boots, a chest plate, and guaunlets that appear merely to be cloth wrapped from his wrist the top of his forearm. His hands are exposed and uncovered by either cloth or armor nor is his face obscured by any means save the Senshi's mystical protection for their identities.

Powers Based On: Sonic Manipulation
Henshin: "Worrrd." (Mark says this and royal blue energy surrounds him transforming him into Vertigo.)

Powers
Vertigo: Mark shouts this out and excretes a rough whistling noise through his lips that causes vibrations in the inner ears of anyone within a 50 foot range. These vibrations cause a sense of disorientation as if the room was spinning and them along with it making battle more difficult for others. The only problem is though that this power effects not only the enemy, but also allies and the effects can be decreased a great deal if one is capable of closing their eyes. It is also a short term power in the way that Mark must continue his whistle to keep up the effect which means on hit can silence him allowing his victims to recover a minute or so later.
Sonic Assault: This is a powerful sonic wave that soars from his mouth colliding like a freight train to anyone in its path. Like all sound though the force of it is stronger the closer one is to it, only the attack can affect multiple opponent if they're lined up correctly. To use this attack all Mark must do is concentrate and summon it up and shout anything. With time and practice it may even be possible to develop this power into a more constant, long-term attack through his singing voice or increase it through other means.
Weapon
Deathscythe: A simple weapon similar to a glaive in design but with two blades opposite of one another on each end. The weapon itself is simple except that it has been enchanted to stand up against other mystic weapons for short periods but can be destroyed given time or a strong enough weapon.

Past History
Mark seems to have no ties to the Silver Millennium or the Senshi. He was raised in a very strict and caring home, and although he rebels at times, he is fairly close to his parents and siblings- Brad, his father; Jayde, his mother; Luke, his younger brother (16), and Kara, his baby sister (15). He has always been a good student, and an active person; what some people would call a "model child." During the end of his junior year, however, a tragic event took place that shattered his world; no one but his family knows what happened. Where he was an outgoing, happy, kind person, he fled inside; the surrounding darkness embraced him, and gave him a place to hide from the pain. Over that summer, he turned into the person that he is now…cold, quiet and indifferent. His family decided a change might do him good, so they planned a move to Tokyo. At the same time, he began to read the Bible and try to be the person he wanted to be to deal with it.

Current History
Mark's family moved during the Christmas break of this year to the suburbs of Tokyo. Juuban High was close, and Mark's family heard that they had a good overall program. Personally, Mark doesn't care, and won't.
