Steve: This is Steve. Show your love.
MTVixen: Snoop Doggy Dogg, the man who claims to be "bringing rap back to the roots" is here tonight to chat about his upcoming appearance on "The Steve Harvey Show" and his recently released follow up to "DOGGYSTYLE," "THA DOGGFATHER." Steve Harvey of "The Steve Harvey Show" is also here to chat. In an unprecedented declaration of peace, West Coast Rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg and East Coast rap producer Sean "Puffy" Combs will unite to dispel the long-running rumors of a violent rivalry between the East and West Coast factions of rap music. Snoop and Steve are here to chat with you, and to answer YOUR questions...
MTVixen: Here is tonight's first question: LeavuHot asks: MTVog: What roll do you think the press has had in escalating the East/West Coast Rivalry (or public perceptions of the conflict). Snoop: They've been the elevator - taking it as high as they wanted to take it
MTVog: Steve, how
did you get the idea to have Snoop and Puffy (specifically) on the show to speak
about the East/West Coast Rivalry.
Steve: I am always looking for ways to improve conditions in my life and
my children's life. and Snoop and Puffy were performing at the Apollo during a
taping of Showtime at the Apollo and i asked them to come and share their
message of peace.
MTVog: KBuck5262
asks: Is "The Dogfather"more powerful than you're other albums?
Snoop: Yes, it is, for reasons that I was peaceful when I wrote this
album and I did it for the love of music and my fans

question for Snoop, Jossi asks: if you could perform any other genre of music
and have the same success you have as a rapper...which genre would you explore

asks: in relation to the upcoming Steve Harvey Show- What do u think about East
and West rap do u have respect for both or do you just keep to one side?
Snoop: I listen to the music that sounds good to my ear - no matter who
makes it if it's good I buy it and play it I have respect for rap period...as
long as it's positive.

the 97, check him out on The Gridlock'd soundtrack. it's a song called
"Don't Try to Play Me" produced and written by Daz
MTVog: Steve, why
is the show filmed in a high school? Do you feel that students and young people
are more accepting of change than other groups?
Steve: Because they are high school students and it's a show about high
school students. Yes students are more accepting because the older they get the
more set in their ways they become.
MTVixen: Steve,
what is the message and what is the vibe of the upcoming episode of "The
