Story

The story for Blue Seed was very original I thought. Except for the concept of the world's only hope is in this one teenage girl. Besides that it was original. The different aspects of the story when you get down to the details were really interesting.

Animation

The animation looked a little ruff. Though it was still detailed, which I thought was good, because so many anime out there are don’t have a lot of detail. I respect the animators that put in the effort.

Sound

I watched the dubbed version of these episodes, and I must say first that it was well done, but there are two noises in the world that irritates me to the point of aggravation. It is the sound of crunching ice, and also the sound of tentacles in this anime. I really don’t like tentacles and during the second episode it was very present.

Adult Content

The adult content of this anime wasn't so much sexual as it was graphic sounding and looking as a few people got killed. I thought those parts were gross. I don't like gross deaths, if that sounds silly you can e-mail me to explain. Besides the gross deaths, the main girl in this anime does end up in her underwear for a little while. Big surprise, that is a common thread for many animes. Though I was a bit surprised that there weren't any tentacle rape scenes. I'm happy there weren't, because I was watching it for the first time with a friend of mine. Usually I watch them alone before I watch them with friends, just so they don’t have to watch anything like that.

Overall

Overall I would have to say this was a pretty good anime. Demon like monster animes aren’t my cup of tea, but it was done well enough I would still have to say it is good.
