"Changing Fate"
by Shioru Sutherlands (aka. Kotoshin)
================================================================

absolute truth simply cannot be proved
it's something one must figure out alone

carry a secret too deep
echoes in my soul voicing truths I keep
given right to know
access knowledge I hold
bring the legend to the people

let's take it slowly
do not be afraid
if you fall I'll come to your aid
there's no real hurry
we'll do it your way
do not judge your progress in days

absolute truth simply cannot be proved
it's something one must figure out alone
break free from the foreordained destiny
take fate in hand to rewrite history

Shin no Freetalk:

It took a packed subway train, an hour in transit, and a shi
who's bored out of shi's mind to do this.

Theoritically speaking, this isn't exactly a poem. It's a filk.
What's a filk? Well, filk is when someone puts words to a tune,
any tune.

The anthem of the Unite States of America is a piece of 'filk'.
If shi recalls correctly, it was set to the tune of "God save
the Queen", which was in turn ORIGINALLY a folk tune so old no
one really knows who wrote it down first on paper, much less who
composed it.

Okay, so this is a filk. What's it set to?
An easy hint: Shi had the tune of EVA's OP theme played over and
over in shi's brain while writing this.
