Why Gambit? When I think about it, I've never been to sure why I have such a large infatuation with this cajun. Here though I'll go deep in depth...right into the heart of my obsession. If you'd like to add your thoughts or opinions here, please just send them along!
*Appearence*
I'm not gonna deny it, the first thing that drew me to Gambit was his sexy looks. Many comic books all look the same. Spiky hair, big muscles, blue eyes, blonde. Remy stands out from all the rest but still manages to get my heart fluttering.
I really like the design of Remy's hair in his original costume, in the Shi'ar mining suit. I love how Marvel draws one single strand carelessly in front of his eyes. There are so many small factors on Remy's face [see pic on right] that add to his appearence. Not just that loose tress, but the un-shaved chin, the deep red eyes, the tan and gruff skin, his thoughtful gaze..it makes me wanna melt!
Looking at more than Gambit's face though, he's got it all under control. While Remy may not having muscles bursting out of muscles, he looks very good. I like how he doesn't seem like a braindead body builder - he's small and agile, but still built. If I could choose to have my dream guy made any way I want, he'd be built like Gambit.
Ohhh that confidence. Theres nothing sexier than when a guy has confidence in himself. The way that Remy grins, smiles, and stands can drop any belle to her knees. Theres so much more past that charming and playful smirk...thats whats even sexier.

*Accent*
I hope i'm not the only one who will admit that when some French guy starts spitting out lingo you not only give him your complete attention, but forget your name in the process. I really love how the writers make Remy speak. For instance how a normal person would say "Hello, who are you?" Remy would say "'ello, who dis?" My favorite 'dub' though is simple but cute. I really adore the 'de' instead 'the'. Don't roll your eyes at me people, lol, you know what I mean! 'dis is de way'. Uwww! lol! Man, I've got it bad.

*Fashion*
Only Remy can wear fuschia and maintain sex appeal. I've composed an entire fashion database on my favorite Remy outfits here at Ace of Hearts, but I'll give a quick run down for ya.
I think that no matter what Remy wears, he can work it well. From his famous original uniform of skin tight blue and pink, he still can make it look good. When remy changes to the Age of Apocalypse's bandana/leather combo, he still has that rugged charm. lol don't even get me started on his pimp Shi'ar mining suit! I could go one for hours on that one! I love how his artists give him that unqiue flair too. For instance, just while he's playing basketball he still has that red bandana tied around his head...those floppy black shorts...and ::gasp:: no shirt! Aside from Rouge's posh styles, I think that Gambit has gotta have the best fashion sense. grr.

*Personatlity*
When Gambit learns that Bella Donna is still alive, his lips tremble and his eyes grow wide. After learning that she doesn't remember him - he slowly looks down, and wishes her a happy life. Gambit has so much depth to him. Not being the one to just sit around and watch the action, he'll spit out some cool catch phrase that makes you chuckle, then do a funky flip and land on his feet. I love how Gambit can range from charming to serious in an instant.
