Born in Verona, New Jersey, Petty started acting at seven as an elf in a school play. She graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in English and theatre and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Aft in London. Since moving to California in 1974, she has appeared in the film "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and on television series in "CHiPs," "Mary" and "James at 16."
BESY LYNN THOMPSON and CAROL GWYNN THOMPSON make their screen debut as Peggy and Lulu, overweight twin sorority sisters who only interest is food.
