Yellow Team Cast Bios


DAVID NAUGHTON makes his screen debut as AdamLarson, a student counselor and Yellow Team captain.

An accomplished singer, dancer and actor, Naughton is best known to television viewers as "The Pepper" on many Dr. Pepper commercials.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Naughton had appeared on and off Broadway before landing the lead in NBC's "Makin' It." Although the series was short-lived, his rendition of the title song soared to #5 on the Top 40 charts. He is currently starring with Karen Black in the film, "Valentine."

DEBRA CLINGER plays Laura, a coed counselor who Adam shyly admires.

A Utah native, Clinger has been in show business since singing with her sister (The Clinger Sisters) at age three. She has appeared on numerous television shows including "Barnaby Jones," "Operation Runaway" and "The Hardy Boys." She starred on NBC's "American Girls" and as the singing lead of Super Chick on "The Kroft Super Show."

DAVID DAMAS is Marvin, Adam's friend and the team's driver.

New York-born, Damas moved to Los Angeles in 1978 after acting in numerous shows off Broadway. He has since appeared on "The Dating Game," "Good Times," PBS series pilot "The Righteous Apples" and was a grand prize winner on "The Gong Show" for his impressions of famous people.

JOEL P. KENNEY plays Flynch, a shy college freshman.

Born in Hollywood, Kenney is the son of a studio technician and had wanted to be an actor since his father took him on the set of "The Brady Bunch." He is currently attending Cal State Northridge, working toward a degree in theatre arts. He appeared in the films "Bound for Glory," "American Hot Wax," "The Bermuda Triangle" and "The Rivals."

MICHAEL FOX is Scott, Adam's younger brother who is always getting into trouble.

Born in Albeta, Canada, 18-year-old Fox began his career two years ago for Canadian television in a series called "Leo and Me." He recently appeared in Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Letters from Frank" with Art Carney and Maureen Stapleton.
