In the Dark of the Night
In the dark of the night I was
tossing and turning
[Jessie at night tossing and turning breaking a cold sweat with a
distraught expression on her face]
And the nightmare I had was as
bad as can be- -
[a close up of her distraught face as she turning some more as if to
shake the nightmare away]
It scared me out of my wits- -
[Jessie jumps up from her sleep wide awake]
A corpse falling to bits!
[Jessie at a graveyard overlooking a solitary tomb with the name
‘Elizabeth Valesquez]
Then I opened me eyes
And the nightmare was…me!
[Jessie closing her eyes as if to think back to old times, then opens
them quickly and a single tear flows down her face and a look of
sadness and fear on her face]
I was once the most mystical
man in Russia.
[Zin is seen swindling goods into Russia, with a convincing magician
along his side]
When the royals betrayed me
they made a mistake!
[Zin throws a bunch of the goods at the wall as he shows his anger
against the wall as he recalls the looks on both the royals face and
that of a woman, Elizabeth, and child]
My curse made each of
them pay
[Zin contemplating on a plan for revenge on two parties the royals and
another]
But one little girl got away!
[a shot of a younger Jessie running through the castle of the royals]
Little Anya, beware,
Rasputin’s awake!
[Zin with seen saying these words as a sly smile creeps along his face]
[chorus]
In the dark of the night
evil will find here.
[Jessie’s bedroom is seen with her bed next to her window- -she is
asleep and a shadow overfalls her]
In the dark of the night just
before dawn! Aah…
[the shadow holds a knife above Jessie’s head and as the sunshine
begins to come up the shadow sinks back into the darkness
Revenge will be sweet
[Zin’s face is seen against a black screen with a huge smile]
When the curse is complete!
[a cloudy image of what Zin’s plan will look like after he is finished]
In the dark of the night
[shot of Jessie’s dark room and voices are head outside the door- -the
two voices are Jessie and Jonny]
She’ll be gone!
[Zin is explaining his plan to his kidnapper/assassin]
I can feel that my powers are
slowly returning!
[shows the Quest team walking victoriously away from a Zin trap when
they see Zin escaping- -in his victory]
Tie my sash and a dash of
cologne for that smell!
[Zin is in his room preparing for a costumed event in which is costume
is that of Rasputin, the Russian ‘holy man’]
As the pieces fall into place
I’ll see her crawl into place!
[both parties prepare for the event/party- -the Quests and the Zins]
Dasvidanya, Anya, your grace,
farewell!
[Jessie happens to be dressed as Anastasia and is leaving the party
followed shortly after by a man in a Rasputin costume]
In the dark of the night terror
will strike her!
[shot of a sleeping Jessie with a shadow above her holding a knife]
Terror’s the least I can do
[the Jonny, Dr. Quest and Jessie are facing Zin when he addresses
Jessie saying that ‘Terror’s the least I can do’ as he begins to warn
her that nightmares do come true]
In the dark of the night
evil will brew. Ooh!
[Zin’s assassin climbing the walls of the compound and into Jessie’s
room; with a transparent image of a sleeping Jessie]
Soon she will feel that her
nightmares are real.
[Jessie wakes to see a man with a knife above her- -the same thing
from her dreams moments before]
In the dark of the night
[Jessie’s dark room]
She’ll be through!
[Zin speaking with the Quest team threatening Jessie, and seeing the
reaction of his threat to her and not Dr. Quest or Jonny]
In the dark of the night
evil will find her
[Jessie walking into her room, thinking someone is watching her or
following her]
Find her!
[Zin mouths the words as he orders his assassin]
Ooh!
In the dark of the night
terror comes true
[he slowly sits and thinks of the pain the Quest Team will feel with
her demise]
Doom her!
[he mouths these words as he orders the assassin to find her]
My dear, here’s a sign- -
[Zin is face to face with Jessie after kidnapping her]
It’s the end of the line!
[she is being taken away]
In the dark of the night
In the dark of the night
[Race finds a note from Zin]
Come my minions.
Rise for your master.
[Zin calling for his soldiers]
Let your evil shine!
Find her now,
yes, fly even faster
[he orders them to find her after she has escaped from the cell]

[a shot of the place where Jessie is being kept and a red head runs
across the screen to the members of the Quest team]
She’ll be mine
[the entire Quest team is in the DragonFly when Zin comes across the
screen/monitor mouthing the words]
[the screen does a close up of Zin and then blacks out suddenly
leaving a transparent image of Zin which then fades into the darkness]
