I had done this story after I had finished with the story that I'm sending out in parts (Death at the Bottom of the World). I wanted to send this one before I finished sending the other one. Here ya go! Should We Go That Far? By: Jerry Landry Disclaimer: Don't own JQ. Rating: Maybe PG, PG-13. I don't really know! Archivers: Go ahead! Just let me know where it is please! Jonny stared at his girlfriend. ::How could she be asking me this?:: thought Jonny ::Of course I love her, but I'm not ready to go this far!:: Jessie stared at Jonny. ::What's taking him so long to answer? I thought this would be an easy question!:: thought Jessie. Just then, to Jessie's dismay, Hadji came into the room. "Hey Hadj!" Jonny said. "Ready to go?" Hadji said. "Sure!" Jonny said, "Let me get my keys." Jonny left the room, and Hadji looked at Jessie. "Did you ask him?" Hadji said. "Yeah, but he didn't give me an answer." Jessie said, "Doesn't he love me?" "Of course he does, but, Jess, that's a really big step! I don't know if I support it." Hadji said, "But, if you two decide it's right, and you really love each other enough to move to that, I'll support you." "Thanks Hadji." Jessie said, hugging him, "You're a great friend." "You're welcome!" Hadji said, "But, if you two decide to do it, please use protection." "Don't worry! We will!" Jessie said. Jonny came back into the room a minute later. "Ready?" Jonny said. "Yeah, see you later Jess!" Hadji said. "Bye Jess!" Jonny whispered as he hugged Jessie, "We'll talk about it later." Jonny and Hadji left, and got into Jonny's car. Jonny started up the engine, backed the car up, and drove. "So, where are we going again?" Jonny asked. "The library. I'm supposed to meet this cute girl there, but I didn't want to go alone." Hadji said. "The library? You're picking up girls at the library?" Jonny said. "No!!!! She has to tell her parents she's at the library because they won't let her go on dates." Hadji said, "Eventually, we'll go out on a real date." "Whatever!" Jonny said, stopping the car at a red light, "Did Jessie tell you about...." "The question?" Hadji said, "Yeah." "What do you think I ought to do?" Jonny said, "Because I'm completely stumped." "Maybe you ought to talk to your dad about it." Hadji said. "I don't think so. He wouldn't understand." Jonny said, "You're the only one I can talk to about something as personal as this." Hadji sighed, and said, "I think you should do it. But, like I told Jessie, use protection." "You really think it's ok to do it?" Jonny said. "Yeah, but tell your parents first." Hadji said, "Hiding it won't help." "Maybe they should come along and watch us to make sure we're responsible." Jonny said. "I think that'd be a great idea!" Hadji said. Later on...... "Dad, Race, Jessie and I...." Jonny said, "Would like to go to South Beach, California on a vacation together without Hadji this weekend. You can come along if you want, to show you that we're responsible and, don't worry, we'll definitely use sunscreen." The End Please send all comments, criticisms, etc. to BJLANDRY@aol.com Jerry L.
