First, the reason i am doing something on The Dominion, is because they ROCK!
I love The Dominion because they are tough, have cool stuff, , and most of all i love the Jem'Hadar. They look so awesome. I mean with their polaron rifles, personal shroud, and cool ships, what could be cooler? They can take a klingon down any day of the week.
Now i don't want to do a whole bunch on The Dominion because it would take way to long. So im going to give you a link to BEST source for Dominion information on the 'Net. I highly recommend this site.
Star Trek: Dominion - Canon Sources
The Dominion are "THE" power in the Gamma Quadrant. They are comprised of the Founders which are Changelings.(shapeshifters) They are very mysterious. Very few Jem'Hadar have seen a founder.
The Jem'Hadar are a race of genetically engineered beings that serve the Founders until death, they look upon the Founders as Gods. They have been engineered to be addicted to a drug which ensures loyalty. This drug is called Ketracel White. More commonly known as "the white". If they dont get their ration of it they will become sick, and go insane.
The Vorta are a sort of diplomatic part of The Dominion, they travel with the Jem'Hadar on the ships and give out the white. They mediate and negotiate truces. They are also very sly. Vorta are also immune to almost all known forms of poison.

honor. this guy rocks. he sacrificed his life so Worf could live.

Changeling ever to harm another.
This is a shot from my
favorite episode of DS9 ("To the death"). At left Tumontorok has pissed off
Worf, by calling him a coward. This guy is buff and has a bad additude. He rocks. But he
paid for it with his life by disobeying orders.
