Following her successful promotion in the BIORE Qualite cosmetic products, CC has returned to Taiwan to shoot her second advertisement for this brand. Product managers hope to see similar public response as the first where the market encountered a total sell-out!! Needless to say, cc's career in this respect is starting to boost as well as her singing and acting.
The 40-episode series with TVB which will be this year's TVB anniversary serial, has been entitled ª÷ ¥É º¡ °ó , as will be starring CC, Bobby O'Yeung zhan wah, along with Marianne Chan Miu Ying etc. The story is based on a food/cooking sorta of genre and is set in the Ching Dynasty, with CC playing 2 roles!!!!! The 1st role is the typical sort of sweet and gentle concubine of the emperor, whilst the other role is a determined and strong-willed daughter of the royal Soldier/Earl (whatever).
Also, cc has been nominated for the most popular female artiste in Singapore's Top ten awards along with other stars including Faye Wong, etc.

Following the completion of the filming of the Shanghai=based series,
CC returned to Taiwan to participate in a series of concerts held by Rock
Records. And immediately after this, CC made her trip to Singapore (arrived
22 May) along with several other Rock Record artistes including Emil Chow and Alex To,
to appear on a charity show as an appeal for the National Kidney Foundation.
During this period, CC has and further will be interviewed by various local
radio stations. Her expected stay there will be about 1 or so weeks.
According to CC, sometime in July, she will be returning to HK to start
filming for the New TVB series which will be the 1998 anniversary series
and is of the comedy sort, with the only other star revealed being Benny O'Young
(¼Ú ¶§ ¾_ µØ ).
The next thing on her agenda will be the recording of
her next album which will include some songs by which the lyrics will be
written by her.
Also, during this busy period, there seems to have been arranged a series of
autographing sessions scheduled running over the period from late May til early July,
as part of cc's recent advertising campaign and promotion for the Cosmetic company (ªá¤ýºq´@¨¾Åμí¦â»e¯»).

CC's new album has done pretty well so far in the Taiwanese market,
hitting within the top 18 of the IFPI best selling albums considering
that it only came out for about 2 weeks. And her currently promoted song
"Ferris Wheel" has hit the 2nd place last week on the radio stations
chart, and will probably keep climbing!!! congrats to CC!!
CC is now in the process of filming the new series (refer below
entry) in Shanghai, and with her album yet to be activley promoted, cc is
tied down with such a busy schedule...Her record company, Rock, is going
to have to get a representative to fly over to Shanghai in hope of
snatching cc back to taiwan for some promotional activites, which
Shanghai has supposedly refused to agree to.
CC has also recently just returned from her staged concert in Canada
with Chilam. So as you can see, cc is really on the roll at the moment
with her agenda hardly being able to manage!!! Stay in there CC!!

Whilst busy with all her promotion campaigns for her upcoming new Madaring album
"¦P ÄÖ ¤k ¤l ", CC has recently taken an offer to co-star in a big serial
production by a joint Chinese, HK, and taiwan co-operation. The series named "¶Ã ¤¤ ¦³ ±¡ ¤H "¡A
is based on the famous old story named "¬P ¬P ¡C ¤ë «G ¡C ¤Ó ¶§ "
, (star, moon, sun), and is based on the story about 3 female characters.
Each character will be portrayed by one star selected from each respective country.
CC has been the chosen one from HK and will be playing the role of "sun" in this 30-episode
series. This is supposedly the main girl out of the 3 and her life will be
played from an early age till an old age, also involving heaps of different styles as her
character develops endures the many hardships in life. "star" will be played by a chinese actress, and
"moon" by a taiwanese actress, while the male is by a chinese actor who will be involved in a relationship
with all 3 ladies in the story.
The shooting of this film will run over a span of about 3 months. Just before cc flew to Shanghai to start this
production, ATV attempted to make yet another offer this time advancing a little more in offering
her a return which is of 7 digits long! However, cc has declined the offer once again as she finds the joint production a
better challenge for her.

CC has taken the role in hosting the HK station RTHK's new tv program
named "°Û ½Í ´¶ ³q ¸Ü ", and is about teaching people how to learn chinese.
CC returned to HK from Taiwan yesterday (16/1) to shoot this programs first
episode.
The newly titled,"Queen of HK series", artist, intends not to accept any
tv series offers as yet, since she wants to devote most of her time to
her upcoming mandarin album and its promotion campaigns which should start
early in Feb.

* Congratulations to CC!!!!: CC has taken out on 1st place in the
singaporean friday weekly vote on the most favoured artiste in the TV
category triumphing over the 2 most popular Singaporean female actresses
who usually take 1st place in the previous years votes. This victory
marks a great success in that it is uncommon for "non-locals" to win out,
with Aaron Kwok doing the best at 3rd place in 94/95.
