Episode 4-3

Niamh has started to move all ofthe furniture into Fitzgerald's against Ambrose's better judgement. He tries to tell her that it against every rule in the book for a Garda to live above a pub but she won't listen to him. She wants it to be a proper home for them all, more of a home than the Garda's house could be. She goes to Brian's to collect the rest of her belongings, things from her childhood. Brian is upset as he sees this as the final step in his daughter leaving home. A young girl turns up in BallyK. She is Sean Dillon's daughter Emma who has followed him from England. He did not tell her where he was going and she has come to find out what is going on. He is not pleased to see her and she takes off in a temper in Niamh's car. Eventually she is reunited with Sean and they start to talk.

Orla starts to worry about her brother. As BallyK's new curate he is having problems adjusting to life outside the monastery. She is horrified to find that he has no idea if he is being paid for his work and tries to tell him how essential money is. He is finally paid by Father Mac, but is horrifed when he goes shopping at the supermarket for the first time and realises how much things cost. He manages to strike a deal with Kathleen - his biggest fan - 12 home-baked cakes of soda bread each morning in exchange for a few groceries.

Superintendant Foley visits Ambrose and sugggests to Niamh that she move the family in over the pub for convenience and Siobhan gives birth to a girl in Brian's jacuzzi with the help of Niamh, Brendan and Emma.
