Siobhan and Brendan have fallen out over Aisling - Siobhan is angry that Brendan is not taking a bigger part of the baby's life and Brendan thinks that he can just saunter in and take her off when he has a spare five minutes. To top it all, everyone is giving him advice on whaat to do with the baby, not knowing that he hardly even sees her. After spending a bit of time with the baby, Brendan decides that he would like to take a more active role in both Aisling and Siobhan's lives.

Donal has disappeared from view - it seems that he has a new girlfriend called Susie. But, she is not all she seems as the village discovers that Donal's new friend is a rather large, rather angry bear! (and not a baby polar bear either!).Liam and Donal hatch a plot to earn some extra money. They plant bits of Susie all over Brian's new golf course and then get him to pay them a fortune to catch and dispose of the threat to his business. But, their plan goes wrong when Susie escapes and holds Brian hostage in Fitzgerald's. Eventually, she is re-captured by Siobhan and Fr Aidan and sent back to the zoo.

Kevin has been spending time over at the Dillon's helping Sean to fix up a motorbike. He has told Padraig that he has started up a paper round, that is why he is never home, but Padraig finds out from Brian where his son is and there is a row between himself and Sean.
