I'm sure that it has filtered through to everyone that, yesterday it was announced that Steve and Dervla have called off their engagement and split up. The reason for the split was stated as purely pressure of work and having to spend so much time apart. It was emphasized that there was no third party involved on either side.
Steve and Dervla intend to continue their close friendship and look forward to working together on a new TV project next month but it would appear that they are not likely to get back together.
As you can imagine, we are all devastated but it is not for us to comment on the break up. All we can do is wish them both well for the future in whatever they do and they can rest assured that we will all be following them just closely as ever.
