Abeyance Assignment 1

The same rules and guidelines for the other Assignments apply to the following ones. This assignment will be fairly straight forward for first time Abeyance Operatives. Good Luck.

OBJECTIVE:
To bring down notorious terrorist, Mina Hertzova.

MISSION PROFILE:
You must go to Austria and track her down through the many cities and sites. Capture her and you will be returned to Fully Active Status.

    Once you are in Klagenfurt, you must find accomodations. You choose a quiet place, so instead of a hotel, you choose a private residence. Because you are on a limited budget you can only spend about 160 to 180 Schillings plus the tax.

    You are scheduled to meet a contact at this local attraction.

    You arrive there and you have been scheduled to meet her by the model of St. Peter's Cathedral. When you finally meet, you are given a file on your target. It shows that this is her favorite city, but she will not return here unless the Olympics will be held there.

    Rather, you find out that your target is staying in Vienna at the moment. You book your accomodations in advance, and you arrange to meet another one of your contacts who may have information on Mina. {The hotel you have been booked at is in sector C3 on the hotels map and it is the hotel directly under Figarohaus}

    You tell your contact that you wish to meet him at a restaurant. He suggests restaurant Drei Husaren.

    You meet your contact and you find out that Mina has been staying in a very isolated hotel, the Vienna Hilton.

    You call the hotel and ask for the room number for a Ms. Hertzova, but she is not booked there. Obviously she is under a falsified name. You then ask for her under one of her known aliases. You find out that she is on the fifth floor. You give Section a call saying you've located her, and they send Michael and Nikita. Five hours later, they arrive. Together you go to the hotel to locate her, but she is not there. The concierge tells you that she has gone out for the evening to Staatsoper for this evening's performance.

    You go to the opera house and you find Mina Hertzova. You capture her and bring her back to Section One...
