PRE-SECTION OCCUPATION: Customer Service and Data-entry for small corporation.

RECRUITMENT: The fiance of a minor terrorist, Lucas Panelli. Panelli had intel and connections to major players in an international drug and slavery ring. She was kidnapped by Section to draw Panelli out. It worked. Section got the info they sought, and Panelli was eliminated. Paula was then scheduled for cancellation. She had been in section too long and had figured out too much to let her go. A position as a section operative was offered to her when she voiced an idea that would solve a problem that had been a thorn in Operations and Madeline's sides for a long time. She took the position. Paula tells no one how she got to Section, or what she does here.

TRAINER: Jurgen. Went through training with Michael Samuelle. They did a few missions together before being assigned to different teams.

PSYCH PROFILE: Paula poses a unique blend of heart and smarts. Although she has never given us any reason to doubt her, the circumstances surrounding her recruitment to Section lead me to believe she is to be carefully watched. She has made it no secret that she holds Section responsible for her lot in life. She accomplishes her missions on time and with aplomb. It appears that we have successfully broken her bond with Michael. Whatever this "pact" was that the two of them had, it was destroyed when we had Michael "cancel" her. To our knowlege, she has not tried to contact him since she recovered and was sent into deep cover. Michael, as well as everyone else in Section One, believes her to be dead.

  • STRENGTHS: ability to "blend in". Good intel gathering skills...an adept listener. Works well as a "mole". Used almost exclusively for missions requiring the use of children.

  • WEAKNESSES: Conscience. Has a strong sense of right and wrong. Has problems with situations she considers "unjust".
