The Docks
Jerry, Suanne, and Jimmy return to the mainland. Suanne gives Jerry a disgusted look and jumps out of the boat. She grabs her cellphone and is dialing when Jerry snatches it out of her hand. "Jerry Jacks you give it back!" she says hitting him on the shoulder. He smiles and returns it, saying, "I just probably saved your life, and that's the thanks I get?" "Saved my life!! You egotistical jerk! You have no idea what you've just done!" "Okay, okay. Calm down! What are you doing in Port Charles, anyway? Not to mention lurking around the Cassadine compound!" "Probably the same thing you're doing here. I can't explain right now. It would take time that I don't have. You have really bad timing Jerry. You didn't see me tonight, okay? If you really want to know what's going on, meet me at my room at the Port Charles Hotel in...2 hours. That'll make it 9:30. Room 411." Without waiting for his response, she hurries off into the night.
Jerry turns to Jimmy and says, "I've got to figure out why Melanie is on that island. But
it's too dangerous for just the two of us. You wait here, and I'll call some more men to help
out. I want listening devices in Wyndemere. I don't trust Stefan Cassadine, any more than
I trust Melanie's mental state. If she comes back to the mainland, someone follow her and
report back. You're in charge Jimmy. Report back to me as soon as possible." Jerry walks
back to his Bentley and drives off.
Meanwhile
Suanne walks toward the PC Hotel. She calls Holly's cellphone. "Holly, it's Suanne. I didn't
get anywhere, no thanks to Jerry." "He knows??" "I'm not sure what he thinks he knows,
but he's suspicious. How'd it go on your end?" "Well, Sonny went back, I assume to
Luke's. Lenore's up to speed on Sonny's part in the deception. What are you going to do
about Miranda and Cassadine?" "I have an idea. We all need to meet, though. Within the
next hour in headquarters. Okay?" "I'll be there, Suanne."
Outside Luke's
Jax and Brenda walk outside, and Brenda can tell something's wrong. "Jax, is everything
okay?" "Huh? Oh, sorry. Yeah, I'm fine," Jax replies. "Don't do that. I need you to talk to
me! If you're mad that I forgot about dinner, I'm sorry. But Luke and Laura, they were
very close to Robin's parents. She's more upset than she's letting on about Laura's death."
"I'm not upset about that, Brenda. You were helping a friend, how can I blame you for
that. I'm just a little preoccupied, that's all. Would you be upset if we went home and
ordered dinner?" "Of course not. I think that's a great idea," Brenda says stroking his
face. "We need a little time to ourselves." "I agree," Jax smiles and kisses her. "Let's go
home, Mrs. Jacks," he says as he opens the car door for her.
Inside Luke's
Lenore's cellphone rings. "Excuse me," she says to Robin, Jason and Sonny. She walks
over to a corner, and answers. "Hello?" "Lenore, it's Suanne. How's it going?" "Perfect,
thanks to May. Sonny was really laying the guilt trip on Brenda. Jax just happened to
appear at the perfect moment. Husband and wife are off to dinner. How about you?" "Not
so good. I'll explain in a while. Can you come to headquarters for a meeting?" "Sure, I'll
leave now." Lenore looks over at the bar. Sonny and Robin are talking and Jason's
nearby. She gets Jason's attention. "I'm really tired, Jason. Will you tell Robin and Sonny
bye for me?" "Sure, whatever," Jason replies.
Spoon Island
Miranda is let into Wyndemere by Mrs. Lansbury and shown to the drawing room. Stefan is sitting by the fireplace. "Melanie, I wouldn't have recognized you. It's good to see you, though," he says standing. "It's good to see you too, Stefan." She approaches and kisses him on the cheek. "Can I get you a drink? It's cold outside," Stefan says. "No thanks," she says and sits on the couch. He sits next to her, and asks, "Why didn't you ever let me know you were alive?" "It wasn't my fault, Stefan! Jerry and John Jacks made sure that everyone thought I was dead. My mother included. How is she?" "She was devastated when I told her you died in the explosion. I gave her a good pension, and she's living in Venice," Stefan replies. "Thank you. I know you didn't have to do that." "I was always fond of your mother. She was always kind to Nikolas." "Well, enough of that. Why did you call me?" Miranda asks.
"I want to know who set the explosion, Melanie. I want to know who destroyed my mine, and almost killed you in the process. You were the only person who knew how important the income from that opal mine was. I almost had enough money to break away from Helena. I could have gotten Nikolas away from her as well. I would have reunited him with his mother. They would have had enough time. Maybe none of this would have happened." He gets up and stares into the fire.
"Stefan, I'm sorry about Laura. I knew how much she meant to you. How is Nikolas?" Miranda asks. "I'm not sure. Luckily he has Barbara." "Barbara?" "Barbara Cassadine. My wife." He laughs at Miranda's shocked look. "Maybe it would explain things to mention that she's the sister of Luke Spencer?" "I suppose it would. You always were a hard man to figure, you know."
"Enough reminiscing," Stefan says. "Do you know who set the explosion at Timoria six
years ago?" Miranda hesitates and turns away. She pours herself a drink. "You're stalling,
Melanie." "I haven't been Melanie for over six years, Stefan. You know that. You knew
that I wanted Jax. It didn't matter to you, though, did it?" "Now that's a case of revising
history if I've ever heard one. Nobody made you do anything that you did, Miranda,"
Stefan replies angrily. "Nobody made you have an affair with me. No matter what you may
have told your husband." Miranda is silent for a moment, then says, "I'll tell you who set
the explosion. On one condition." "What's that?" "You help me get Jax back," she
answers. Stefan laughs, and then says, "Now how on earth do you propose I do that?"
"Very simple," Miranda responds. "Jax would have taken me back if it weren't for
Brenda. I want Brenda gone."
Port Charles Hotel
In the Partners In Crime Headquarters, Suanne, Lenore, May and Holly have assembled. "Okay, now. Let's all get everyone up to speed on our side of things. May first," Suanne says.
"Well, on the Sonny side of things. I've gotten all this information from my contacts with the WSB. He's probably the most powerful organized crime figure on the east coast. He's involved in gun running, money laundering, illegal gambling, prostitution, and last of all drugs. Most of it can't be connected to him easily at all. To take his drug smuggling, and dealing for example. He stays very far away from that end of things. He lets certain families transport drugs through his territories for a certain fee. Also for that fee he provides them a certain amount of protection through kickbacks to law enforcement. I haven't quite figured out how many cops he's got on his payroll, but there's a lot. As for the dealing of drugs, it's pretty much the same. For a certain fee, he lets people deal in his territory. All his operations seem to follow that pattern. Which makes it extremely hard to pin any charges on Mr. Corinthos.
"As for Miranda, now that's quite a story. Part of this information was from WSB contacts, and the other part is from a conversation between Jerry and Jax earlier this evening. Miranda was raised on the Cassadine compound, but her name was Melanie James. Her mother was a housekeeper/nanny for Nikolas. When Miranda was around 18, she left the compound. Turns up in Paris. Marries Jerry Jacks. They don't last long. She was cheating on him, and he found out about it. When he tried to divorce her, she asked for a large divorce settlement. His lawyers were better, she ended up with next to nothing. She disappears again. She shows up in Australia, under a different name. Miranda Jameson, this time. She marries Jax, but what he doesn't know at the time is she has not broken her Cassadine ties. Stefan was in Australia at the same time, off and on. She was cheating on Jax with Stefan. Oh, and Stefan owned Timoria opal mines, which was the mine that J&J Jacks sabotaged. But before that, Jerry got suspicious, and did a background check on Miss Miranda Jameson. She had not met her in-laws yet. Imagine his surprise when he discovered a) That she was HIS ex, and b) that she was seeing Stefan Cassadine. Before he could do anything about it, Miranda gets caught in the explosion. Jerry and John find her. They take care of all of her medical bills, and provide her a home. The only stipulation is that Jax has to believe she is dead. They figured he was better of without her, and I tend to agree."
"Okay, now for Holly's story," Suanne says. "Okay. Well, I was lucky. I stumbled onto quite an interesting development. Laura wasn't killed by the explosion. What I can't figure out is was the explosion set by someone wanting to kill Laura and her mother; or was it set by Luke and Sonny to make everyone believe they were dead. I was at the docks, and saw Sonny, Luke, Laura and their kids. They're long gone by now. They were making a getaway. The point is, though that Sonny knows all about the deception. But I'm sure that won't keep him from playing on Brenda's sympathies."
"I think that leads to Lenore," Suanne says. "Well, Holly was right. Sonny was laying it on thick, and Brenda was falling for it. I tried unsuccessfully to divert Sonny's attention. He's using this situation to go after Brenda. Luckily for me, May decided to help me out." "How did you know?" May asks.
"Well, Jax was so perplexed, telling Brenda about this mysterious message he got under his door," Lenore says smiling. "Okay, I confess. I felt sorry for him, pacing back and forth in that penthouse," May says with a grin.
"I guess that leaves me," Suanne says. "I found out that Miranda was at Spoon Island, and I decided to check it out. I got there unnoticed but thanks to Jerry Jacks I didn't get farther than looking at Wyndemere. He found me and literally dragged me back to the mainland. Miranda was there, though. And I'm worried about what she has planned."
"It can't be anything good," Holly replies. "I agree," Suanne says. "Holly, would you please keep trying to befriend Miranda? Since Mac trusts you, that should be a plus." "I'll try, but she's very suspicious," Holly answers. "She doesn't have a friend in Port Charles though, except for him, right? I have faith that you can get to her. As for the Cassadine problem. That's the most dangerous aspect. That island was so heavily guarded, but we really need listening devices in there." "What about Jerry?" Lenore asks. "He doesn't think Miranda is good enough for his brother, right? Would you be willing to let him in on our reasons for being here?" "It's a possibility, he does have some interesting connections," Suanne responds. "Define 'interesting'," Holly says. "I'd rather not," Suanne says with a grin. "But we may need his help. Who knows what Miranda has planned for Jax and Brenda yet."
Jacks' Penthouse
Brenda and Jax return to the penthouse, and Brenda orders room service. Jax disappears to the back of the suite, and Brenda walks over to the fireplace, which has died down. She sees something on the floor by the fireplace and picks it up. It's a picture of a man and woman kissing. She recognizes the man, he's that Cassadine guy. Lucy had told her all about him one day. The woman, though, she doesn't recognize. She has long, curly, brown hair and tanned skin. "Wonder what this is," Brenda says to herself. She sticks it in her purse when she hears Jax coming back into the room. "Are you okay?" she asks him. "You're being really quiet." "I'm fine, I'm just tired. It's been a long day," Jax replies sitting on the couch. "No, it's more than that, Jax. I can tell when something's bothering you. You can tell me anything, Jax. I'd prefer it if you did. I'm tired of wondering what's going to happen next. Is it Miranda?" she asks sitting next to him.
"I told her I wanted a divorce," Jax says. "You did??" Brenda asks. "Why do you sound so surprised, Brenda? I love you. You are the only woman I want to be married to. I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Jax says. He takes her face in his hands and kisses her passionately. "How did she react?" Brenda asks pulling away. Jax hesitates, looking away. "Just tell me. She's going to fight the divorce, isn't she?" "That's the impression I got," Jax answers. "She wants you back? Great. I knew it. I knew that noble act of hers wasn't going to last long." "Brenda, it doesn't matter. I'll get the divorce, and then we can move on with our lives. Which reminds me..."
Jax stands up and goes to the desk. He pulls out a jewelry box and walks back over and sits on the table, across from Brenda. "This is for you," he says handing it to her. She looks at him suspiciously, and then takes the box and opens it. Inside is a ring with a very large diamond. "Jax! You didn't have
to do this!" She says smiling at him through her tears. "I wanted to. I think we should start
all over again. No more secrets, and no more lies. I want to spend the rest of my life loving
you. If you still want me, that is," Jax says. "IF I still want you! I love you, Jax. I want to
be your wife. That's all that matters," Brenda replies. Jax smiles and slips the ring on her
finger. "This time, it will be forever, Brenda. I promise you that." He kisses her, and they
fall back on the couch, laughing.
PIC Headquarters
Suanne hands out the Kleenex to the other PIC members, Holly, May and Lenore. They had listened to the proposal, and now are all in tears. "That was so sweet!" May sobs. "I agree," Holly replies. "That's why we've got to keep Sonny and Miranda from ruining yet another wedding," Suanne says. "First on the agenda is I have to figure out what I'm going to say to Jerry." She looks at her watch, and dabs her eyes, "I've got a meeting with him in 20 minutes." "What are you going to say?" Lenore asks. "I think I'll let him in on my part of the mission, but keep it on a need-to-know basis. I don't want to jeopardize those of you who are WSB agents," she says looking at Holly and May. "Holly, I need you to work on Miranda still. Find out what her intentions are. We all know that she's not giving up on Jax without a fight. Lenore, your job at Luke's will give you a good means of keeping an eye on Sonny. But we can all start phase two tomorrow, it's getting late. And everyone keep in touch."
Suanne leaves the headquarters and walks to her room at the hotel. She lets herself in and is just getting settled when there's a knock on the door. She opens the door to Jerry. "Hello, Jerry. Come in," she says. "Suanne. So you gonna tell me why you were on Spoon Island? That's a dangerous place for a--" "You say it and I'll smack you, Jerry!" Suanne interrupts. "Okay, okay. I know you're not just any woman. But still, it's dangerous for anybody to be there," Jerry says. "Why were YOU there?" Suanne counters. "I had my reasons," Jerry responds sitting on the couch.
Suanne sits across from him, and says, "Okay. We could play word games all night, but I'm too tired for that. I know why you were there. You remember telling me about Miranda, don't you?" "Yeah, I remember." "Well, I decided to help out. Hear me out, Jerry!" She says when he starts to open his mouth. He shuts it and continues, "I have contacts in different government agencies, it's not important which ones. I am very aware of who Mr. Sonny Corinthos is, and I know that Brenda has been trying to break away from him for a while now. When you told me about Miranda, I got suspicious. I and a few others came to Port Charles to run a little interference for your brother and Brenda. My intention is to get enough information on Sonny to keep him away from Brenda permanently. Same with Miranda. If things continue like they have been, we'll have enough information on Miranda to convince her to leave Port Charles."
Jerry sits for a minute, then says, "Okay. First question. Why?" "Simple. I knew Julia in London. She and Brenda have always had a strained relationship, but she worries about Brenda. She told me about Sonny and Brenda. When you told me about Miranda, I figured things were getting too complicated. Jax probably thought that Miranda was some saint. At least that's the way he's made her in the past few years. The combination of Miranda and Sonny is just too much for Jax and Brenda to stand. Especially when you throw in the ties Miranda has to Stefan Cassadine." "You know about that?" Jerry asks. "I told you. I have my contacts. I wonder, though, if we could work together. I'm sure there are things you don't know that we've already discovered. And you could help us by telling us about Miranda, what you know of her. What do you think?"
Jerry looks at Suanne silently for a few minutes. "It's a deal, on one condition." "What's
that," Suanne says warily. "That you leave the dangerous stuff, like hiking around Spoon
Island at dark, to me and my men," Jerry responds. Suanne smiles, and says, "Sure Jerry!
Whatever you say!" Jerry laughs and says, "Why am I not convinced you mean that.
Okay, then It's a deal." He holds out his hand, and they shake on it.
Wyndemere
"You want me to get rid of Brenda Jacks? How would you propose I do that? But more importantly, why would I do that?" Stefan says to Miranda. "Well, I don't care HOW you do it. You don't necessarily have to kill her. I'm sure you can think of something. The details aren't important. As for why, well, you owe me," Miranda replies. "I don't owe you anything, Miranda. I didn't ask you to be in the Timoria Opal Mines that night. Why were you there, anyway? To stop the explosion?" Stefan asks. "That's exactly why I was there, and you know it." "Well, I'm sorry you were hurt. But that's the risk you were taking, wasn't it?" Stefan replies. "Don't make me your enemy Stefan. I know too many things. Things that could destroy you," Miranda says glaring at him. "Don't threaten me Miranda. I don't respond to threats well. Ask Helena," Stefan responds his eyes turning cold with anger.
"Oh, it's not a threat, Stefan. It's a promise," Miranda says nonchalantly. "I saw Nikolas
the other day. I suppose he's taking his mother's death badly. I wonder how he'd react to
knowing that his father isn't dead." "Don't you DARE!" Stefan says as he leaps off the
couch and approaches her. "You can't scare me. You never did," she says coolly. They are
glaring at each other standing less than six inches away. "I take it that you never told him.
Lucky for me. If you don't help me, than I'll just have to tell Nikolas who his real father is,"
Miranda says, her eyes gleaming evilly in a way Jax has never seen before.
Jacks' Penthouse
The next morning, Jax is wakened by the phone ringing early. It's just after 5 am, he realizes looking at the clock. He quietly goes into the living room, so he won't wake Brenda.
"Jax here," he says groggily. "Mr. Jacks, I'm so sorry to bother you this early, but it's very important," Addy says on the other end of the line. "Addy, you know I can't be bothered right now," Jax replies. "I've taken some time off." "I know, Sir, but it's the Tokyo deal. Mr Chan called this morning. He's very upset, and he says he has to talk to you in person. He won't talk to your brother, or John. It has to be you, or the deal is off," Addy explains. "I don't need this right now," Jax mutters to himself. "I'm
sorry? Did you say something?" "No, Addy. Okay, call Mr. Chan and tell him I'll be on the next available flight."
Jax sighs, and goes back to the bedroom to get dressed. Brenda wakes up, looks around
and sees Jax in a suit, and packing a suitcase, "Jax? Jax why are you up? It's not even six
o'clock yet," she mumbles. He sits down on the bed next to her and says, "Brenda, I'm
sorry. There's a problem with a deal J&J Jacks have going in Tokyo. The company
president on the other end insists on seeing me. I have to go, sweetie." "Jaaax," Brenda
says, "Can't you get someone else to go?" "I'm sorry, Brenda. It's very important. I have
to go." "How long will you be gone?" she asks. "Hopefully not more than a few days. I'll
call you every day, I promise," Jax replies. "I suppose that's what I get for marrying a
millionaire," Brenda sighs. "Just come back soon." "I will. I love you Brenda," Jax says,
and kisses her passionately. He breaks away from her embrace and walks to the door. He
gets a sudden sense of foreboding, and turns back to say, "Brenda?" "Mmph," he gets in
reply. "Be careful. Keep the doors locked when you're alone. "Uh-huh," she mumbles
sleepily. He smiles and leaves.
Meanwhile at Wyndemere
Stefan is sitting in the drawing room, on the phone. "You made the call, Mr. Chan?...Good, believe me we'll remember your loyalty...Don't worry about that, you can still make the deal. Just keep Mr. Jacks busy for a few days." He ends that call and makes another one. "I have a job for you. Take Mrs.
Brenda Jacks to the compound in Switzerland. I'll provide the passports, and transportation, and any money you need. She is not to be harmed, though, under any circumstances. If you harm her, you'll deal with me personally. Keep her there until further notice."
Stefan shakes his head in distaste at what he had been provoked to. Melanie had left soon after making her threats the night before. He had agreed to her terms, on the condition that he would not tolerate any harm coming to Mrs. Jacks. The sooner Melanie was out of Port Charles the better. He couldn't have her around, blackmailing him left and right.
He had been stupid for telling her about Nikolas so many years ago. He had thought she understood. He had never told Nikolas. Nikolas could not know the truth. At least not while Helena was still alive. There was too much of a risk that she would find out. He had always wanted his son to have the
privileges he never had. The Cassadines would be better under Nikolas' guidance. "But is
all this worth it?" Stefan says to himself.
Port Charles Hotel, Jerry Jacks' Suite
Jerry is on the phone with one of his men. "Did you get the listening devices installed yet? Well why not!! Listen to me, this is a very serious situation. You get those bugs installed at Wyndemere now!"
The phone rings, and he barks, "What!" "Good morning to you too," Suanne replies
sweetly. "Oh, sorry, Suanne. I thought you were someone else." "Things not going your
way?" "You could say that," Jerry replies. "You want to come over and we can talk about
it? I don't like conversations over phone lines," Jerry says. "I've got some things to take
care of, but I'll be there around 8 am. We need to get our information straight, anyway,"
Suanne replies.
PIC Headquarters
May is sitting at the desk, sipping her coffee. She is sitting at her computer, sifting through mind-numbing WSB files. She is also listening to the transmitter from the listening device, but all she hears is a door open and close. "Jax out on his morning run?" she wonders to herself. It would have been useful to have another bug placed in the Jacks' bedroom, but Suanne had vetoed that idea. "They do need their privacy," she had said, and then that discussion was closed.
May is looking through the WSB files on Stefan Cassadine, which are quite interesting. From all appearances, he's just an upstanding businessman. Charity work here and there. Companies sold and bought. The one interesting thing she has found so far is the information regarding the Timoria Opal
Mines. She wonders to herself if Stefan Cassadine would be the kind of man to hold a
grudge about J&J Jacks sabotaging the mine. She almost doesn't hear it when the door
closes again at the Jacks Penthouse. She looks at her watch, it's 7 am. Something's not
right, she thinks to herself. It's too quiet. And Jax usually runs for about 20 to 30 minutes,
not an hour....
Meanwhile at the Jacks Penthouse
Brenda doesn't hear the intruder enter the suite. He is a burly man with black hair, about 6 feet tall. He goes back to the kitchen. Meanwhile in the bedroom, about 15 minutes later, Brenda wakes, and looks around. "Jax?" she says, and then remembers. She gets out of bed and gets dressed, then goes to the kitchen in search of a cup of coffee. She smiles to herself to find a pot ready for her. It doesn't occur to her that it should be cold, since Jax left an hour ago. She pours herself a cup, and then goes into the living room and settles on the couch. Instead of the coffee perking her up, though, Brenda
feels more tired when she finishes it. She curls up on the couch, saying, "Need a nap."
A woman in a maid's uniform opens the door and lets herself in. She is pushing a laundry cart. The intruder from before comes out of the closet, and says, "Over there. That's her." He walks over to Brenda, who is passed out from the effects of the sleeping drug he had poured in the coffee. He picks
her up, and puts her in the laundry cart. They arrange the laundry over top of Brenda and
leave the Penthouse silently.
PIC Headquarters
May stops and thinks, What was that? Did I just hear a man's voice? She listens intently
but doesn't hear anything else. She shakes her head, and returns to the computer search.
Later that morning, 8 am.
Suanne arrives at Jerry's suite, and knocks on the door. He opens it, and she can see he is making a call. "Where is she?" he hollers and snaps his cellphone closed. "What's wrong?" Suanne asks. "Jax called me from his jet. Apparently there was a last minute problem with one of our business deals,
and he's off to Tokyo. He wanted me to keep an eye on Brenda. I've been calling the number for the past 15 minutes, but nobody's answering. I'm getting worried." Just then Suanne's cellphone rings, "Suanne, it's May. There's something weird going on at the Penthouse. I haven't heard a sound from either Jax or Brenda. He should at least be up by now. I thought that was him when I heard the door a couple of times, but now their phone's been ringing off the hook." Suanne says, "Jerry and I are on our way over to the Penthouse now," and hangs up. "Um, Jerry? How hard would it be for you to get us into the Penthouse suite?" she asks. "No problem, come on. I'm getting worried," Jerry replies. Suanne runs to the elevator and punches the button repeatedly. "Come on!" she yells at the elevator. "Forget the elevator!" Jerry calls as he runs to the stairway. "I'm right behind you!"
The two run up 3 flights of stairs, and arrive at the Penthouse suite. Jerry motions to Suanne to stop, and he pulls a .38 out of his pocket. "Okay. Stay behind me," he whispers to Suanne. He walks to the door, and tries it. It opens easily. They exchange worried looks, and he goes inside first. He looks
around, and sees nothing disturbed. Suanne follows him inside. He motions for her to stay there, and checks the other rooms. The bedroom is empty, the bed still unmade. The kitchen shows no signs of life except for an almost-full pot of coffee.
He joins Suanne in the living room, where she is looking intently at an empty coffee cup. "Got a handkerchief?" she asks. He gives her one, and she carefully wraps up the cup in it, careful not to empty the remaining contents. "Just a hunch," she says, to Jerry's enquiring look. "May, I know you can hear me," she says out loud, to Jerry's astonishment. "So listen carefully. There's no sign of Jax or Brenda. I've got a really bad feeling about this. Call all the partners into the headquarters. Jerry and I will be there shortly." Jerry is still staring at her open-mouthed. "No, I haven't lost my mind, Jerry. We've had the living room bugged for a week now. Looks like I shouldn't have objected to there being a bug in the bedroom," she says. "Quit standing there staring at me and come on!" she yells at Jerry.
"Where?" "To the Partners In Crime headquarters of course," she says, shaking her head.
She glances once more around the room, and then grabs Jerry by the arm and drags him
out of the room.
Mac's House
Miranda is awake, and drinking coffee when the phone rings at 8:15. "Hello?" she answers
it. "It's done," Stefan says. "The rest is up to you." She hangs up and smiles to herself.
"Now that Brenda's gone, we can be together again," she says. She is smiling at an old
picture of her and Jax together.
To be continued......
