Well, I have quite a bit of news to tell you. First of all, the Chiller Sci-fi con held May 21, 22, 23 was quite a success. Mark found he had more fans than he knew existed, and thats just on the East coast. But we have to do something for him.

Mark asked if we, the group, would specifcally write to a woman named Bonnie Hammer at USA/Sci-fi channel and tell her we want to see more Mark! She is in charge of Original Programming and she is the one to make decisions. She can get Mark back on the air again! Her full proper address is:

Please everyone WRITE WRITE WRITE! Tell her we want to see Mark in more USA/Sci-Fi channel made for TV movies and more series eps and possibly even his OWN series! He is too good an actor to waste! There is a 1,000 to one ratio (the theory s that for every 1 person who writes there are 999 who DON'T but would) so every letter is VERY VERY important! If you can get friends to write - do that to!

Next - Mark will be appearing at the International Mega Toy Show at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Newark, NJ on July 17- 18. Its a movie memorabilia convention. Mark is not going to promote Swampy as much as Titanic. Since its geared to movies more than TV he asked that the advertising push Titanic. I have some really nice Titanic shots (thanks to Patty) and we hope that people will sit up and take notice of Mark!

Lastly, the fan club mail went out. I'll e.mail you an appllicaton if you want . just tell me and I will e.mail yours out. This is the last group to get the fan club info, but it gets to you faster by e.mail.

The prosepct of a new Swamp Thing series is bleak at best at this point, but there is always hope. Mark said he WOULD do the series again, but he would like to move on at this point in his career. If we write to Bonnie Hammer, maybe something will come up.

There IS the Swamp thng Movie. I'm calling Michael Uslan's office this week to tell his secretary that Mark will be at the convention in Newark in July. Hopefully they will connect. I'm doing the same to Bonnie Hammer. Lets keep our fingers cross that something comes of this.

Well thats it group. Please help Mark by writing to Bonnie Hammer. Lets support Mark in what ever he wants to do. And lets keep our fingers cross that Sci-Fi puts Swampy re-runs back on! I miss my Swampy!!!!
