SYNOPSIS
This
entertainment magazine series aired on weekday evenings, with an off-beat assortment of short
features ranging from interviews with rock music stars to coverage of celebrity
baseball games, to a report on a carwash with topless and/or nude attendants.
The
pace of the show was extremely fast, originating in a large control room from
which viewers could watch the director move from one story to the next.
The producers categorized this as "zapless TV" - with so many
stories in each half hour that viewers would feel like the channel was
being changed automatically.
