SYNOPSIS

These documentaries had originally been aired during the 1950's and 60's and were considered classics of TV journalism. Many of them came from Edward R. Murrow's See It Now and others from the CBS News Reports and CBS News Special series that succeeded it. John Hart was the host, setting the background for the period in which the specials had originally been telecast and putting them in historical perspective.
