SYNOPSIS
The National Intelligence Agency had a problem. Most of its top agents had suddenly been "neutralized" by the KGB and NIA chief Lavender needed new recruits fast. These recruits had to have skills as varied as those of a diamond expert, a plumber, a safecracker and an electronics wiz. So he recruited all of the above who were just ordinary citizens whom he persuaded to serve their country as spies-for-a-week.
Lavender's superiors thought this was irregular but they had little choice in the matter, so each week, a new group of Americans with diverse skills was made into foreign agents chasing adventure around the world. This week they could be a racecar driver or dog trainer, next week a baseball star.
Casey and Danny were Lavender's young assistants who helped keep this unusual tour together and get everyone home safe and sound after their adventures with stilettos in dark alleyways or poison darts.
