SYNOPSIS
Based on the 1943 movie of the same name starring Cary Grant, Mr. Lucky revolved around a fortunate and honest professional gambler who had won a floating casino - the ship Fortuna, and made it hhis place of employment.
Staying beyond the 12-mile limit, where he could operate a gambling ship legally, Mr. Lucky played host to a wide variety of people, all of who came to make use of his extravagant facility. Helping him run the ship was his good friend Andamo. When he got into situations that required police intervention, Lt. Rovacs usually provided the assistance.
The music from this series, composed by Henry Mancini, produced two successful albums, The Music from Mr. Lucky and Mr. Lucky Goes Latin.
