SYNOPSIS

Shawn Weatherly, former Miss Universe, and underwater cinematographer Al Giddings were the regulars in this mini-series / documentary which explored all facets of the six oceans of the world.

Shawn had no prior experience as a diver before agreeing to the around-the-world voyage - which took nearly a year - but she learned the equipment and techniques and dove right in, enduring the elements along with the professionals. The show was aired from the tropics to the icy Antarctic.
