SYNOPSIS
Pete was a former con man and Frank was a retired vice cop. Together they formed a private detective agency that specialized in pulling "switches" on other con men. They would make up elaborate schemes that would result in the bad guys conning themselves!
Based in Los Angeles, the two traveled all over the country on various cases. Malcolm, who was recruited by Pete and Frank to help them on certain cases, was a small-time thief and con man who had gone straight and opened a restaurant. Maggie was the agency's secretary/receptionist and girl Friday.
By the middle of the second season, Switch had become a more traditional, mainstream detective show with fewer con games and less elaborate schemes. In the fall of 1977, Pete moved into a new apartment above Malcolm's bar. Revel was the hostess and Wang the new cook.
