Viper is our host, born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on a June 21. In
his own words,"I'm a dinosaur already"... After finishing High School in New York,
he came to Miami with the intention of studying biology, accidentally he
wound up in the school's (Miami Dade Community College) radio station. That's
when he realized that his future was in broadcast communications, without
a second thought, he changed his major from Biology to Radio Production. He began as a disk jockey at WKCR (West
Kendall Campus Radio), then he gave his first steps on to television as a
production assistant at Telemiami Cable Network, he also interned in El
Show de Cristina (Univision) before leaving it all to embark in his new
chalenge,
. Although he never expected to wind up in front of the camera, he got the
hang of it pretty quick. His personality,
objective and most of all... unpredictable, not only does this give a different style compared to what we are used to seeing on Hispanic
Television in the US, but gets him in trouble from time to time "for
not having hairs on my tongue like most of the puppets that host other TV
and radio programsViper is a dreamer,"my dream is to have the opportunity to contribute in the reconnection
between the Hispanics that live here in the United States and those whom we
left behind for one reason or another..." In his opinion,
"It is necessary for us to reach back into our roots to reaffirm
who we are, ...if we forget where we come from, we'll never know where we're
going"..." Viper's favorite pastime is: Roller
Hockey in which he plays Left Defense at West Kendall amateur leagues (Miami).
His favorite teams are The Florida Panthers and The New York Rangers, loves
Japanimation, reading Voltaire and racing motorcycles. Some of his favorite
bands are: Soda Stereo, Los Prisioneros, Héroes del Silencio, Motlëy
Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, La Ley, Angeles de Infierno, The Cure, Caifanes,
Molotov, Aterciopelados and Volumen Cero.
