"Let me out of here right now or else!" You demand, punctuating this with a stomp of your foot.

"Or you'll what?" He raises an eyebrow at you, you can hear the laughter in his voice.

"I-I'll scream!" You announce in triumph.

"Oh no you won't." He tells you, his eyes full of mischief.

"And how do you purpose to stop me?" You ask tauntingly.

"Like this," He sweeps you into his arms and proceeds to kiss you soundly.

"Oh," You blink as he releases you.

"Did that work?" He smiles at you.

You nod and try to take a step towards the door, but your legs are less than stable at the moment and you start to fall.

Vachon catches you.
 

You look up into his eyes and make absolutely no move to straighten yourself. Without taking his eyes off you, Vachon reaches up and crushes the light bulb in his bare hand.  Everything goes black, but his arms are still around you. He smells of leather and rain storms.

You smile in the dark and mumble, "You know, I'm scared of the dark and may get the urge to start screaming any second now."

"Well, we can't have that can we?" He leans down and kisses you again.
