Charisma Carpenter

Charisma wasn't forced into acting and the thought never crossed her mind. She was always a good looking teen in high school and she is very physically fit so if she even auditioned for a role earlier than she did she probably would've nailed it. Her first step into the acting world was when she moved to L.A, though she didn't exactly move there to be an actress. She was spotted while watressing by a commercial agent and then went in to be on over 20 commercials.

In 1995 she got her first real role as a guest star on Baywatch. Because Baywatch is such a big show with so many episodes, Charisma's appearance is often forgotten. After Baywatch she became a San Diego Charger cheerleader which was well fitting for her physical strengths. Then she went on to have a lead role in the short lived Spelling drama, Malibu Shores. There she played a much-like Cordelia character which she was very good at.

After the cancellation of Malibu Shores, Charisma went on to have a generous part in a series of sci-fi movies about Josh Kirby. These weren't very recognized movies but she did have an okay resume when it was time for her audition for Buffy. Bianca lawson (Kendra) was the first choice but she dropped out and the role went to Charisma, which was probably the best career opportunity that could've happened to her.

Buffy became a hit and Charisma became very famous. Cordelia was a big hit on Buffy and so much that they decided to give her more coverage in the upcoming Buffy spin-off, Angel. No movie roles rumoured yet, but Charisma is pretty sought-after because of her sharp acting skills and show-stopping looks.
