Up Close & Personal - The Fall Guy

Many an actor dreams of playing an action adventure hero - jumping off buildings and punching out evil villains. But Michael Saucedo has discovered that pulling off a good fight sequence takes practice.

"I work with a stunt guy a little bit," says Saucedo, whose scrappy character frequently gets into scrapes. The actor says that during these scripted fights, he does tend to get a little wild.

"I kind of let myself go to a certain degree. I fight - though it's not like I'm kicking someone else's butt. But as far as acting, it's weird to put yourself in that position." Don't worry; these on-screen fights don't hurt him or his opponents. "

The stunt guys know what they're doing," Saucedo explains - which is good, because otherwise, "I could really get beat up." As it is, Saucedo says with a big grin, "I am looking forward to the next beating."
