From Teen People

Smiley faces are out, lava lamps are in. That's the word on those quick "bumpers" sandwiched between thh show and the ads. But that's not all that's new in 1977...

Groovy The awkwardly real relationship between Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon) deepens to the point where he's no longer grappling with the hooks on her bra. When the time is right, says executive producer Mark Brazill euphemistically, "they're going to -- oh, play foosball." In a word: sex.

Not So Groovy the bond between Jackie (Mila Kunis) and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) is tested when he gets a van - aka love machine - that makes him catnip to the ladies, including Eric's older sister (Lisa robin Kelly). "He loves Jackie, but he's a victim of his impulses," explains Brazill. Those wheels also will find their way to "Vanstock," which is like Woodstock - but for vans.

Groovy Hyde (Danny Masterson), who still lives with the Formans, will become a career man - at Photo Hut. "He'll be checking out everything," says Danny with a laugh. "I can see him going through the principals' pictures and then, six months later, when he's about to get suspended, whipping out a photo double of something."

Not So Groovy Lonely exchange student Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) still longs for love. He won't find The One, but at least he gets lucky with the daughter of a friend of his host parents.

Groovy Cheap Trick is re-recording the theme song.

Not so Groovy That '70s Show is now up against the last half hour of Buffy. Danny says he prefers his own series, naturally, but he still thinks Seth Green is "awesome".
