--Gul Dukat, in "Waltz"

Quite a career, wouldn't you agree?

Meet Elmo, my pet cyber tribble

Affectionately named after my favorite Star Trek character, Gul Dukat*

tribbles

Simply adorable, isn't he...er, aren't they?

certification

Well, you can see how much THAT certification is worth!  Perhaps not surprising as the original "Elmo" has nine children (that we know about).
Want one?
Take one...or ten off my hands...
Please!

*What does the name "Elmo" have to do with Gul Dukat?  Well, you may have noticed that Dukat has never been addressed by a first, or given, name on the show.  The question of Dukat's first name was put to Ron Moore, a writer and producer of "Deep Space Nine".  His tongue-in-cheek answer was "Elmo"--presumably in honor of the giggling Sesame Street Character doll, "Tickle Me, Elmo" which was the impossible-to-obtain bane of many parents at Christmas time a couple of years ago.  It's not canon, but it comes up often, and it's kind of fun to think of...oh,  someone being tickled by Dukat.
