Anyone may join although men do not play the same part in the community as women do - they are nonetheless tolerated if they abide by Amazon laws and culture.
Everyone will begin as an initiate. Even me. There are no self-appointed Queens here. All you have to do is choose a name and write a pledge. Each has to work her way through several criteria to earn the right of Princess or Queen.
