Definition of a Beta-Reader:

A beta-reader is someone who proof reads your story and checks it for spelling/grammar
mistakes. They also point out problems in logic and might even offer suggestions on how
to make things flow a bit nicer  or just how to improve overall. Their suggestions, however are only that: SUGGESTIONS. You are under NO obligation to follow all or even any of what your beta-reader suggests, since it is, obviously, still *your* story!

A Bit of Advice:

First-time posters to the archive or even "seasoned vetrans" <g> are urged to take advantage
of this service. Before I posted my first fanfic, I sent it off to not just one, but THREE separate
beta-readers. Sometimes it's nice to get more than just one single opinion since different people catch different things. Even now (as in with my current story 'A Day In Your Shoes') I have two
people who are beta-reading the parts as they are finished. From an archivisit's point of view, when I post someone elses's story, I don't spellcheck it or grammar-check it. What I get is what is posted, errors and all. Using a beta-reader helps cut down on all that.

The Beta-Reading Team:

The following people were kind enough to offer their time and efforts as Labyrinth beta-readers.
There are more general beta-readers listed at the Slayerette Fanfic page (link can be found on my links page) whom you can contact for additional help. (Almost every single one of these people has at least a few fics on the archive as of right now...)
