Lucky made his way to the hospital. After years of being in that hospital, he knew his way around pretty good. He got inside without being seen. He made his way to the men's locker room, where he knew spare sets of scrubs were stored. Lucky quickly changed into scrubs. He put in a surgical hat and mask and went up to the 7th floor. Maternity wing. Lucky went to the nurse's station and hoped his next move would work. He walked up to a nurse at the nurse's station.Lucky: Can I see the list of patients?
Nurse: Of course, doctor. (she handed him the chart)
Lucky was amazed that it worked. He took the chart and found Liz's room number. Room 725.
Lucky: (handing the chart back to the nurse) Thanks.
Lucky found his way to room 725. He opened the door and it was dark except for a little light that as on the night table. Liz was sleeping and Lucky just stared at her. She was so beautiful. He missed her so much. He walked over to the side of the bed, just watching her sleep. Just then, Liz started to wake up. She was surprised to see a doctor standing over her.
Liz: Doctor, is there something wrong with my baby?
Lucky said nothing. He walked back over to the door and locked it so no one could come in. This frightened Liz.
Liz: What are you doing? What's going on?
Lucky could see that Liz was scared.
Lucky: It's ok. Don't be scared, Elizabeth.
Liz could not believe what she was hearing. She knew that voice but it could not be. Liz grabbed the string to turn the light on, and all she saw was this man in blue scrubs and he was wearing a mask. All Liz could see was his very blue eyes. She started to cry.
Liz: Lucky.
Lucky took his mask and cap off.
Lucky: Yes it's me, Elizabeth....I'm here.
Liz was in total shock.
Liz: How? You're dead.
Lucky: No, I was kidnapped. The fire was a set up, I never died.
Liz: Oh, Lucky.
Liz held her amrs out and Lucky jumped right in. He held her with all his strength. He never wanted to let go.
Liz: Are you here? Are you really here?
Lucky: I am here, baby, and I am never leaving you again.
Liz: Lucky, please tell me what happened.
Lucky: I will...I will tell you everything, but first things first....how are you?
Liz: I am fine. (Liz remembers the baby) Oh my God, Lucky do you know why I am here?
Lucky: (smiling) Yeah, but could you tell me anyway?
Liz: (smiling) I just had a baby...your baby...you have a daughter, Lucky.
Lucky starts to cry.
Liz: What's wrong?
Lucky: I am so sorry I was not here for you and our baby.
Liz: Hey, you are here now. Lucky, you're a father--how do you feel about that?
Lucky: Well, it was unexpected but I am so happy to have a baby with you.
They hug again.
Liz: Wait a minute, how did you know?
Lucky: It's not important, all that matters is I am here now, but Elizabeth, I am still in danger and by me being here so are you. I need to get help. I am going to see Sonny and then find my father.
Liz: Lucky, please tell me what is going on.
Lucky: Right now the less you know the better. I'll be back tomorrow.
Lucky leans down nd kisses Liz very passionately.
Lucky: I missed that.
Liz: Me too, more than you know.
Lucky: I'll be back.
Liz: Ok.
Lucky started to go to the door. Once he was there, he turned around to Liz.
Lucky: By the way, what did you name her?
Liz: (smiles) Lacey Lynne.
Lucky: I like it. Tell her, her daddy loves her and I will see her soon.
Lucky left the hospital room and Liz laid back down on the bed and smiled. She just prayed Lucky would be okay.
