About an hour later Liz and Lucky arrived in Manhattan. Lucky never drove in the city before so this was going to be tricky. After many times of almost being hit by speeding cabs, Liz and Lucky made it to their street and parked the Uhal right outside their building. Lucky got out of the Uhal and went around to open the door for Liz. Once they were both out of the truck, Liz and Lucky looked up at the building. They feel in love with the building the minute they saw it the last time they were in the city and the still loved it.

Lucky: Here we are, 334 Heratio Street. (Turns to Liz) Welcome home baby.

Liz: (she smiles) Home.

Liz and Lucky hug each other and then kiss. They then walk in the building and go to the Super’s apartment. Lucky knocks on the door.

Super: Yes

Lucky: Hi remembers us? I’m Lucky Spencer and this is my fiancee Elizabeth Webber, we’re your new tenets.

Super: Oh right of course. Come on in.

Liz and Lucky paid the super first and last months rent, signed the lease, and the super gave them the keys.

Super: Apartment 5D. Oh by the way your delivery came yesterday so I just let them in.

Liz and Lucky both looked at each other in confusion.

Lucky: Delivery? We didn’t order anything.

Super: The guy said it was a delivery for Spencer and Webber.

Liz: That’s weird. Let’s go check it out.

They left the super’s apartment and got on the elevator to the fifth floor. Once it had it the fifth floor, they got off and headed to their apartment.

Lucky: Here we are 5D.

Liz: I can’t believe it’s really ours.

Lucky: It’s all ours, no let’s go in and see what was delivered.

Liz: Okay hurry open the door.

Lucky unlocked the door and opened the door allowing Liz to go in first. The both look around and noticed nothing had changed. Liz continued to walk around.

Lucky: I don’t see anything different in here

Liz: OH MY GOD!

Lucky ran in direction of the sound of Liz’s voice. He found her in the master bedroom.

Lucky: What? What is it?

Liz: I think I found it.

CHAPTER 10

Lucky stood beside Liz and looked in the bedroom in complete shock.

Lucky: Oh my god.

In the bedroom there was a brand new bedroom set. It was made of light oak and the bed was a four-post queen size bed. There was a royal blue comforter set on it with many pillows. There were two night tables and his and her dressers. Liz and Lucky were frozen they could not believe what they were seeing.

Lucky: Wait what is this?

Lucky went over to the bed and picked up a note that was on one of the pillows. He read it out loud.

Dear Lucky and Elizabeth,

Welcome Home! We hope you like our surprise. This is our house warming gift to you two and your new home. We hope you enjoy it and we love you both.

Love, Mom and Dad Spencer.

PS: There is another surprise in the refrigerator.

Liz: I can’t believe they did this, this is so sweet. I mean we could never afford anything like this on our own.

Lucky: I know, I think I’m still in shock. I guess we should go check out the fringe.

Liz: Yeah Okay.

Liz and Lucky left the bedroom and walked into the kitchen. Lucky opened the fringe and they were speechless again. It was stocked with food and there was a bottle of sparkling cider with a big red bow tied to it.

Lucky: Food!

Liz: (laughs) Hey there is another note. (She takes it and read it)

Liz and Lucky,

The food was your mother’s idea, the cider was mine. Enjoy.

Dad.

Your father is too much.

Lucky: I can’t believe this. Hey why don’t we go down and bring our stuff up.

Liz: Okay.

They both went down stairs and after many times of up and down they finally got all of their stuff in the apartment. Lucky then called his parents to thank them for everything and let them know they arrived safely.

CHAPTER 11

A few hours later after doing some unpacking and looking threw the newspaper for estate sales, Liz decided to take a shower. While Liz was showering, Lucky went to raid the refrigerator.

Lucky: Nice touch mom and dad.

Lucky reached into the fringe and pulled out some strawberries and whip cream. He then took out the cider, got some glasses, and headed to the bedroom. Lucky lit the candles that Liz had put out earlier and dimmed the lights. He kicked off his shoes and went to sit on the bed.

A short time later Liz came out of bathroom, her hair was all wet, and she was wearing one of Lucky’s button down shirts. Lucky was completely taken aback by her. She nearly took his breath away. Lucky cleared is throat to get his mind back on track.

Lucky: Can I offer you some strawberries?

Liz: Mmm is there wiped cream?

Lucky: But of course.

Liz smiled and went to sit on the bed across from Lucky. She was at the head of the bed while he sat at the foot. Lucky handed Liz a glass of cider.

Lucky: To our new home and our new life…together.

Liz: Ditto.

They both tapped their glasses and took a sip of the cider.

Lucky: Now let’s get to those strawberries.

Lucky took a strawberry and dipped it into the whipped cream. He brought it up to Liz’s mouth. Liz opened her mouth and took a bite of the strawberry getting wiped cream on her lips in the process. Lucky moved closer to her and kissed her, as he licked all the wiped cream away.

Liz: My turn.

Liz dipped a strawberry in the wiped cream and brought it up to Lucky’s mouth. He bit it and Liz kissed him passionately.

They continued this until all of the strawberries were gone, and now there is only whipped cream left. Liz brought the dishes over to the dresser and brought the whipped cream back over to the bed.

Liz: We can’t let this go to waste.

Lucky: Well….what do you suppose we do with it?

Liz: (smiling) Eat it.

Liz dipped her finger into the whipped cream and brought her finger up to Lucky’s mouth. Lucky opened his mouth welcoming Liz’s finger. As Liz inserted her finger into Lucky’s mouth, he licked all the whipped cream from it. Liz then removed her finger from Lucky’s mouth and moved closer to kiss him. Their kiss quickly deepened as Lucky pushed Liz back on the pillows and settled himself on top of her as they continued to kiss. Both their kissing and breathing intensified. Not wanting to Lucky broke the kiss.

Lucky: Are you sure Elizabeth?

Liz: Lucky, we’re home. It’s okay, please make love to me. I need you.
