Sooner Than Heaven - Chapter 1

Elizabeth layed her head down on the pillow. She was trying to fall asleep. God must of spent a little more time on you was playing on the radio. Everytime she heard this song, her heart sank cause she would think about Lucky. Not that she didn't think about him every second of the day, as she did. It just made her feel sad that this was their last song they danced to together. The very last one. Finaly, she fell asleep. And eventually, she fell into her dream....

Liz was walking over by the peer, at night, lost in thought. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she could here the familar voice she had grown to love say,"Elizabeth."

LIz froze. She hadn't heard that voice on so long. Nearly a year. She missed just hearing it.

"Elizabeth,"It said again.

"Lucky?"She cried,"Lucky? Is that you?"She was afraid to believe it was.

"It's me Liz, i'm here... you can't see me but i'm here,"Lucky whispered.

"But I want to see you!"Liz cried,"Where are you Lucky? Where are you?"

"I dont know..."Lucky said,"I wish I did.. but I dont... I just had to tell you that I loved you... i haven't in so long...."

"Come back to me lucky,"Liz cried,"I miss you to."

"I miss you to Elizabeth,"He said,"I want to come back to you... but I can't... it's to dangerous..."

"What do you mean by dangerous?"Liz asked, confused,"If you can't come with me, let me come with you..."

"Look Liz, I just had to tell you I love you... and i'd rather die then see you hurt... I love you so much Liz... it's so hard being apart from you... one of the hardest things i have ever had to face..."Lucky said.

"Then why can't you come back to me?"Liz gasped,"Lucky, don't leave me again!"

"Good-bye Elizabeth,"Lucky whispered. Suddenly, everything went quiet.

"Lucky?"Elizabeth whispered,"Lucky?"

That dream faded... awhile later... another dream also with Lucky popped up. She had been having these kind of dreams alot the past couple of weeks. But never twice in one night.

This time, a candle lit up the night. She knew exactly what that resembled, the candle that started the fire. The fire Lucky died in. Liz was alone again, walking around. She couldn't tell where she was though. It was all foggy.

"There you are,"She could hear Lucky say,"My love, My life, my Elizabeth."

"Lucky?"She said, suprised,"Where are you?"

"I'm right here,"Lucky said.

"Where is here Lucky?"Liz asked,"Why can't I see you? I just want to hold you, just for a second!"

"LIsten... I just had to tell you that... that I'm alive,"Lucky said.

"Yeah I know you are, your still alive in my heart,"Liz said.

"No, i mean Alive, really truly alive,"Lucky whispered,"I need your help Liz."

"Where are you though?"She asked again,"If your alive, why can't I see you?"

"It's to dangerous,"Lucky said, again,"Look Liz, I gotta go, I shouldn't even be talking to you... but I manajed to get away for just awhile... their probaly looking for me... I love you Liz,"Lucky said.

"Who's looking for you??"Liz asked, even more confused at what Lucky was trying to tell her,"I love you to, lucky."

"I miss you,"Lucky whispered. And then the candle went out.
