Sooner Than Heaven - Chapter 8

"Well Bye guys,"Liz said to Emily and Juan. Nick had already left.

"Bye... sure you don't want us to walk you home?"Emily asked.

"No... I kind of need the time alone... you know... to think,"Liz said. About the dreams with Lucky, she added silently.

"I understand, well see you tomorow at Luke's,"Emily said.

"Bye, Liz,"Juan said.

"See ya,"Liz said. A few minutes later she found her self sitting on a bench at the park.

It was as if she was still their, but not living. The life had died inside of her when Lucky died that night. She couldn't believe Emily suggested that those dreams meant it meant it was time to move on. She could never in a million years do that. Without Lucky, their was no meaning to live. She thought of her and Luke's conversation earlier. In heaven, he answered saying when she will see him again. How long though was it till she would be in Heaven? Years from now, she knew. Could she even wait till then? Elizabeth sighed, and got up. Just as she did, out of nowhere, a huge gray van came up besides her. A man jumped out. Elizabeth started to walk faster but suddenly the guy leaped for her and grabbed her! Liz tried to scream, but his hand covered her mouth. She slowly turned around, and noticed he was wearing a mask. She tried breaking free from him but couldn't. The man just continued to pull her into the van.
