Luke and Laura were sitting on their couch when the doorbell rang. "Who could that be at this hour?" Said Luke as he got up from the couch and opened the door. "Cowboy what are you doing here this late?"
Lucky was holding a sleeping Lauren in his arms. "Dad I need your help" Lucky came in the house. "Mom can you take Lauren upstairs?"
Laura got up from the couch. "Sure honey." Lucky handed Lauren over to Laura and Laura carried her up the stairs.
"What's up Cowboy?"
"It's Elizabeth, she's in trouble."
Lucky and Luke sat down on the couch and Lucky told his father everything that he knew about Liz and what her husband was doing. "I have to get her away from him dad, but she won't let me because he threatened to hurt her children."
"What a guy threatening his own children. Okay cowboy I'll do whatever I can to help."
"Thanks dad, will you come with me tomorrow to talk to her?"
"Sure, no problem. Why don't you just stay here tonight and will go to Audrey's first thing in the morning."
"Sounds good, thanks dad."
Lucky went upstairs and tried to go to sleep, but his mind kept wondering back to Liz. Lucky hoped with everything he had that she was okay.
