RoJohn: I'm not going to let you go, I don't care what you say

RoJohn: I can't do that

Marlena: You can do that. You know what would make me really happy. Remember all those crazy, silly, awfull, wonderful times we've had? Remember when you brought your sleeping bag over and you parked on my floor? Remember when you tried to show off and you took me skiing and you almost got me killed? Remember our wedding? Remember when our childern were born? I want to know that those things made your life richer, and better. That will make it easier for both of us.

RoJohn: They do, they do, but thats not enough. We've got so much more.

Marlena: Oh Roman we've had so much

RoJohn: It doesn't have to end

Marlena: It's not going to end

RoJohn: Oh then you'll stay

Marlena: Not the way you think

RoJohn: Doc, what do you mean?

Marlena: Roman, I'll always be with you. I'll always be a part of you, same as your a part of me now. Do you understand that?

RoJohn: Yes, only it hurts so bad.

Marlena: I know, I know it hurts. Remember this, I want you to be happy, thats what I want. I want you to go on. I love you. I'll always love you, but we have to let go.

RoJohn: We have to let go

Marlena: Don't move. Marlena kisses RoJohn You be happy. You be happy! Goodbye. Marlena walks off

RoJohn: Goodbye Marlena.

That was the last scene with Marlena until Deidre's 91' return to Days.
