DAAS KAPITAL REVIVED
EPISODE THIRTY-ONE {the episode of questions}
Written by Solo
Is this it?
Is this the end?
The final curtain?
The last goodbye?
Will the lads return to the future?
Will Solo leave without saying goodbye?
Will the series end?
{Criky the author hopes so!}
Solo raced through the numerous corridors of the Titanic
II,
desperate
to reach the door before her three minutes were are.
As the front door came into sight, she skidded to a halt.
What was
she
doing? Did she really want to go home? Did she really want
to start
her
essay? Did she really want to watch this week's episode of GNW?
… Hell
yes!
Solo walked slowly to the door and rested her hand on
the door
handle…should she leave without saying goodbye? Maybe it was
better
this
way? Solo stared at the doorknob… What if she stayed? The
thought
flicked
across her mind. It was tempting…very tempting.
Suddenly Flacco appeared at her side. In his hands,
he held a very
long, coiled rope. "You'll need this to climb down to your house."
He
said quickly, "you'd better hurry!"
"Right!" Solo answered. Flacco was right …
she'd better get on with
it. Her mind now made up, Solo took the rope from Flacco's hands.
She
gave Flacco a big hug and began to tie the rope around her waist.
"Wait!"
"Wait!"
"Wait!"
Solo spun around and watched Tim, Paul and Richard suddenly
appear
from
three different corridors and skid to a halt in front of her.
Where had they come from?
Where had they been?
Richard gasped for breath and asked, "You were going to
leave without
saying goodbye?"
"I didn't have much choice Rich. I've only got three
minutes – well
less than that now. I didn't want to leave…without saying goodbye."
Solo reached out and grabbed Richard's shoulders.
She pulled him
into a
giant hug.
"Goodbye Rich, take care – and watch out for the other
two!" She
whispered, muffling the words into his neck.
"I'm gonna miss you!" Richard whispered back.
"You're the best
friend,
no, the only friend I've ever had!"
Solo hugged Richard tighter for a moment and then pulled back.
Wiping a
tear from her eye, she then walked over to Tim. She pulled him
into a
big
bear hug. "Goodbye Timothy." She whispered.
"Goodbye Solo!" Tim whispered back. He pulled
her closer and
attempted
to stick his tongue in her ear.
Solo pulled back quickly… "Yeah I'll miss you too Tim."
She said
ironically.
Then Solo turned to Paul.
He pointedly turned away to stare at the wall.
Solo stared at Paul's back for several seconds.
"You're running out of time!" Flacco announced suddenly,
breaking
the
silence that had enveloped the whole group.
Richard and Tim were looking at Paul strangely.
Paul refused to turn
around. Solo sighed.
"Bye Paul." She said simply and turned back to the door.
Tim nudged Paul. Paul pushed him back. Richard pushed
Paul. Paul
shoved
him back. Tim shoved Paul. Paul hit Tim hard in the stomach.
Tim
doubled
over and Richard backed off. Paul turned to look at Solo as she
reached
out a hand for the doorknob. She gripped it gently and then abruptly
let
it go. "Stuff this!" she muttered. "I'll probably never
see you guys
again and I'll always regret it if I don't do it."
"Do what?" They all asked.
In reply, Solo boldly marched over to Richard and kissed
him
passionately. She then turned, marched over to Tim and kissed
him
firmly
on the lips. She even reached out and pulled Flacco to her for
a quick
kiss before she turned to Paul.
"Twit!"
"Brat!"
"Bantha breath!"
"Artist!"
She walked over to him slowly and Threw Her Arms Around
him. "Thanks
for waking me up Paul." She said loudly.
And then she kissed him.
The kiss had the same psychedelic effect as last time
and Solo began
to
feel herself losing her capacity to think (wouldn't we all?)
Slowly she
forced herself, regretfully, to pull away. She looked up at Paul
strangely.
Well go on then!" Paul snapped.
"Right."
Solo turned to the door and grabbed the door handle.
She turned it
and
pulled.
How can she leave?
What will the lads do without her?
What will Flacco do without her?
Is this the end?
