What is SlFic?
SlFic is fanfiction for the show Sliders. Fanfiction is basically fans of a show writing stories about what they would like to see happen in the show. Anything is possible in fanfic. Dissapointed over the pofessor's death? Write it out yourself. During the third season of Sliders, especially, fanfic became an outlet to change our dis-satisfaction with the show. SlFic has expanded beyond just stories too. Now many people write songs, poems, and create artistic collages of picutres. (Although attachments aren't allowed on the SlFic mailing list, many people still consider these to be a form of the creativeness that is fanfiction).
The Sliders Fanfic Mailing list is a great thing for fanfiction. Authors can distribute their stories easily to a relatively large number of people, and readers enjoy getting to read the stories, in most instances, before they are posted on a web page anywhere. Every story that is posted to the list will find a home in the Sliders Creative SlFic Archive.
